Humans. Meh

There is a place in the pacific called "Gilligan's island" a vast island of floating plastic trash the size of Texas.

Thanks for proving my point. But things are getting better, not worse.

American Opinion on Climate Change Warms Up Yale Project on Climate Change Communication

Public concern about global warming appears to be on the rise again, after a year of significant declines, according to a new national survey conducted by the Yale Project on Climate Change Communication.

Since January, public belief that global warming is happening rose four points, to 61 percent, while belief that it is caused mostly by human activities rose three points, to 50 percent. The number of Americans who worry about global warming rose three points, to 53 percent. And the number of Americans who said that the issue is personally important to them rose five points, to 63 percent.

The stabilization and slight rebound in public opinion is occurring amid signs the economy is starting to recover, along with consumer confidence, and as memories of unusual snowstorms and scientific scandals recede. The BP oil disaster is also reminding the public of the dark side of dependence on fossil fuels, which may be increasing support for clean energy policies.

Americans who said President Obama and Congress should make developing sources of clean energy a high priority increased 11 points, to 71 percent, while those who said that global warming should be a high priority rose six points, to 44 percent. In a seven-point increase since January, 69 percent of Americans said that the United States should make a large or medium-scale effort to reduce global warming even if it incurs large or moderate economic costs.

PEW polling among many others say No.. And those who are looking are now asking questions.. Like.. What has the 120ppm increase in the last 120 years done to the climate.

Please be specific in your answer. Show what it has done, what part is generated by man, what part is generated by natural variations, and how you determined this. And be sure to include the falsification of all other sources.

make your data, methods, and calculations available for review..

I'll wait.

SO a poor country, deprived of ways to clean up and reuse what they make is now blamed on every one... Nice little commie socialist.. I suppose your answer is to deprive everyone their rights, property and land because you know better how to manage everything...

WAIT! these are socialist countries...

And the pic definitely isn't photoshopped ...

Tsunamis have the tendency to deposit a fair amount of trash in the sea.
Even more important you should be able to notice the anomaly associated with the defined lines of where the trash is reduced to trail leading to the boat expanding outwards in a distinct bulge.

The trash shown in the picture was collected with a edge floating surface net over a wider area and the net has either been dropped or recovered.
My guess would be that the net was recovered seeing the outside line of debris is less composed with more outlying "drifters" on one side of the debris field.

.

Volcanos, earthquakes. tsunamis. But vast trash islands? Nature's plan some how? Plastic doesn't just go away, so when you drink that water out of a plastic bottle, can't you just use a refillable or a drinking fountain? No, that is to hard.

Sorry, sweetie. I'm not a scientist. I'll defer to the 97% of scientists who say climate change is real.

That's not speculation.

Has anyone worked on a fishing boat or been involved in an ocean cleanup?

That's where Grace got her OP. Indonesia, I believe.
I just copied the pic on the news report I saw on AOL. You know, to make it slam home for dumbfucks that think I should go to China and do something with myself instead of dissin' humans. Last I saw, I didn't see any other critter doing what humans have been doing.
