Humans are doing this to humans. Earth is an inanimate object in space. It feels nothing, it doesn't care.
We, humans, care. Pollution is purely human. The concept is human. The effects are only on humans.
There is one reason to stop pollution; for humans.
Pollution is stupid, ugly, health-threatening, unnecessary and costly.
Nature doesn't care. Nature can't be hurt. Anyway, humans are part of nature. Where did humans come from, after all, another dimension?
Stop polluting for yourself, for me.
Stop trying to make the fight other than it is. That is not only a waste of time, but it can only lead to false assumptions about existence and our place in it.
