You gotta wonder if Barry is on the same page as the people of the United States or if he is still behaving like a Nigerian refugee? Obama claims that eliminating tax breaks to the oil industry will result in lower prices at the pumps. How can punishing oil companies result in lower prices? The dirty little secret is that speculators are mostly responsible for running up crude prices. Commodity speculators are like gamblers. They play the odds and the odds are that Obama wants gas prices to rise to punish Americans for their decadent oil consumption and to change the fabric of America. They are no dummies even if the majority of senators are. They will make money even while the president sends the Country down the road to socialism.

obama is really really stupid. He believes that oil companies will not raise prices to compensate for the loss of the subsidies. He believes that the money the government gets from the subsidies will be best spent on his green energy programs that have been proven not to work.

I wish you birther idiots would agree on things. Many of your bretheren believe that Obama was born in Kenya.

Yet, you are insisting on Nigeria. Which is it? Kenya or Nigeria?

One does not need to be from Nigeria to behave like a Nigerian refugee.

I think he acts more like a Nigerian prince myself. I get letters from Nigerian princes all the time. THey all promise what obama promises.

So last year, every gallon oil companies drilled, they could sell for $3. Now they can sell that same gallon for $4 and Republicans want to send them billions of dollars?

I'm wondering why when the oil companies have been posting record profits for the past several years, what makes it necessary to receive money from the taxpayers to the tune of around 4 BILLION (with a b) per year?

The speculators make around 56 cents on every gallon CURRENTLY SOLD by betting on futures, and oil companies are making record profits.

Why is it that they need our taxpayer money to help them out when they're already screwing us at the pump?

Whether it raises the price of gas or not it is the right thing to do.
Giving specific tax breaks and such to oil companies is just plain wrong and is the same as spending tax money on them.
    No corporate entitlements.

    It won't

    however

Not spending money slows the decline of the dollar. Basically our money will be worth more for a little bit longer.

Hell, we could fix all this by going back to the gold standard, since it's gold that OPEC values and not our food
