How do you feel about a foreign base on US soil?

Let's just say, for the sake of argument, the DOJ sells Edwards AFB to Saudi Arabia, or Turkey, or Germany, as a cost cutting measure. Lets sat you lived in Palmdale or Lancaster. How would you feel about a German or Saudi base, with a full, mechanized division with air support, just down the street from where you live? Are you okay with that?

What if the base was Chinese, Russian or Iranian? Would you be okay with that? Or would you hardly even think about it? Is a foreign base on US soil even newsworthy?

Because we currently have over 800 bases in 80 country's and we hardly think about them.

So how would you feel if one of those country's put a base on our soil?

Depends on the need for them.

If our position was like West Germany's during the Cold War, I would love it.

If our position was like Saudi Arabia's with hostile and bigger nations all around, I would love it.
