These are just some historic European biases and Sour grapes against the USA.

When the USA first gained independence, Britain had sour grapes over losing its largest and most agriculturally important colony.

When the USA became the world's largest economy in the 1870s, Britain had sour grapes over losing its economic position in the world.. as did the other European powers.

When the USA gave up having sour grapes against Britain, our old friend France decided that the USA "betrayed" them.

When the USA went to war against Spain, Spain had sour grapes about losing its empire.

When the USA went to war against Germany, after they sank the Lusitania.. Germany had sour grapes not just about the USA, but also blamed Jews... who at the time were kept educationally deficient, to put it nicely, and then wondered why they were of no help to Germany in the war.

When the USA went to war against Germany the second time,
Germany had sour grapes about losing their top scientists to job opportunities in the USA, as well as sour grapes over the improvement of the lives of Jewish immigrants to the USA.

(when the Jews first immigrated to the USA, they were often illiterate and in poor health and poor condition not at all the people we know today who spend their entire prime, and sometimes half of their 30's as well in college and earning high relatively incomes)

When the Italians came to the USA in large numbers, Italy had sour grapes over the American production of Italian food that they wanted kept unique to Italy, and as it was in Italy at the time.

When the USA helped found Israel, The Europeans in general had sour grapes over a Jewish state, due to racism and bigotry.

When the USA made a friend of Australia during World War 2 and especially the Vietnam war, Britain once again had sour grapes of the American industrialization of Australia, and to a lesser extent, New Zealand too.

When the USA started providing Arms to Israel due to a French armament embargo, caused by Bigotry in France, France had sour grapes again.

Britain even has sour grapes over our usage of a single European language, and our culture regarding its usage.

When the USA remained the world's only truly free market after the 1960s, Europe had sour grapes over its failures to turn the USA into the same welfare extremist state that Europe turned into.

When the wealthy began leaving Europe due to the punishment of success, Europe had sour grapes about the USA taking them in and benefitting from it.

So I have a question.
Why should we care what Europe has to say about anything at all whatsoever ?

Why does Europe have so many sour grapes about the USA ?

Because Europe was the old status quo.

I have no use for Europe although I like the English from a few decades back and throughout their previous history . English civilized the world , well actually I suppose that it was the Brits that civilized the world , I think. Also happy that we yanks sent the brits back to old blighty .

If Europe would get their shit together, clean up their nations internally, then take a larger global role, they would be alright . But not until they clean up the left wing do nothing's in their socialist countries and become true capitalist again. We in America must clean up our own leftist terrorist if we will survive as a nation. Europe is jealous because deep down they miss the power and significance they had before WW2. Hey Europe, come back to power. Have empires. I'm good with that.makes world a safer place. We need a strong Germany again.
