Just got back from getting my hip replacement redone and boy does it suck!!!
Twice as bad as the first time.
The first guy left my left leg 1 inch longer than the right,I pointedly asked him if it wasnt going to give me back problems down the road. Of course he swore it would be fine.
Then came the back problems which required surgery, which in turn failed,or so I thought.
Got two second opinions and both surgeons said they didnt see a problem with my back
So off to another hip specialist and he was aghast at the length discrepancy!!!
There is now only a 1 cm difference, and while my hip hurts like hell there doesnt appear to be anymore back pain.
I'm not the sueing type but I damn sure looked into it for such an egregious error...the statute of limitations has kicked in,and I'd like nothing more than to kick the first surgeons teeth out.
Going to talk to the attorney with this latest info and see what can be done.
