Here It Is---Trump's New Food Stamp Plan: A Basket Of U.S. Food, Direct To Your Doorstep!

For some reason, the school I went to had one of these in the fridge for about 10 years, it never got opened:

iu

Or did I get hungry and try it one day? Big mistake.

That thing was there before I came, and after I left, not kidding!

Why don't Republicans just cut to the chase and issue the poor dumpster diving permits and distribute road kill

Fish?

You know what? In Russia, you can just go fishing if you have the time and means.

Not in the US, though. You better go down and be getting you a license to carry in your wallet on your way down to the fishing hole.

Takemefishing.org :1peleas::fu:

That commercial pisses me off!

Do away with fishing license requirements!

Such bullshit that is!

Good thing I stopped watching television, I don't miss it one bit.

Are you surprised to see a bank lobbying for Food stamps? There is a reason....JP Morgan issues the cards.

“Florida has been contracted to pay JP Morgan $90,351,202.22. Pennsylvania’s seven-year contract totaled $112,541,823.27. New York’s seven-year contract totaled $126,394,917.”

JP Morgan’s Food Stamp Empire

Once again, Trump is doing the right thing!

Getting actual food to the people that really need it and reducing the opportunity for fraud and theft in one fell swoop.

Progressives will, of course, complain about this and find fault

Why do our friends on the left want poor people to go hungry?

Have you even bothered to consider the logistics in doing something like this? Home delivery of food baskets? Who's gonna deliver them, and how often?
Amazon!
If it fits it ships...Post Office

Yep this is another kindergarten idea from the child in chief.

What you mad you might not be able to sell your food stamps for crack?

This is what it's all about, get a clue.
Nah it’s just a poorly thought out plan that will never happen

But I know this is what they are thinking.
Nah you’ve just brainwashed into mental illness

Turn it over to Amazon and most urban areas would see 2-hour delivery. Leave it USPS and there'd be no need to package fresh food. Just any food, fresh, stale or rotted....'cause it'll be rotten before it arrives.

Our government at work helping us.......Yeah, I know, USPS claims to be independent. But it it were it would work efficiently.

How so? I bought food stamps off people before you can get a good deal.

So, tell us again, why inventing a whole new bureaucracy for handling the massive logistics for this, represent a cost savings?

The USDA got out of the Gubmint Cheese and Peanut Butter bidness ages ago... with good reason.
Because you can fire the old, bloated one.

I could see something like that instead of Government canned goods

Let them go online and order low cost food deliveries

You know, something like that might be able to work if Amazon would accept SNAP cards.

Simple solution: Just have Walmart do it. They already deliver groceries.
