I think Trump believes that the government can deliver like Amazon does. If that was the case, then why the miserable response to Puerto Rico?
2 reasons
for one; deliveries made that have to cross a body of water and out of the country are more complicated and difficult than deliveries to a physical address in the United States is fairly simple
this is especially true when there a bunch of deliveries to people living in a condensed area (IE - public housing)
second; part of the problem with our relief efforts in Puerto Rico was outright corruption and theft - people stealing and selling the stuff we sent over to help people
our post office is actually pretty damned good; if anything, it is under priced
what I mean is, a letter from Miami, FL to San Francisco, CA SHOULD cost more than a letter from Miami to Tampa; but it doesn't
the delivery of the food is not that big of an obstacle & this plan would absolutely reduce theft and abuse in the system
