at least, according to CNBC

let's see...

  • economy is stronger
  • people have more money
  • Trump's policies are popular

what we have is the "reverse Obama syndrome"

Obama had high "popularity" ratings; much of that had to do with people being afraid of being called RACIST if they did not like him

but public perception on his policies was really bad

Trump's popularity numbers are lower; again, many people worry about being called RACIST if they like him

but his policies are mostly well received and popular

and historical trends suggest that will be enough; despite a concerted effort by our media to shape the narrative against him

don't worry libs - just seven more years...

Still to early to figure it out, but the whole generic ballot trend is interesting.

As accurate as any other made up form of analysis, but interesting.

Of course it could just be the MSM making sure they are not complacent this time and drumming up the base.

They say all politics are local.

So, if there are more jobs, more businesses, and a general air of being okay where you live, who do you think you would vote for?

And if things are the opposite?

Figure it out for yourselves.

2.3% GDP growth, inflation, and 95.8+ million out of the work force are good things? :cuckoo:

A generic ballot this far out is meaningless.

Which is basically what I said, but that didn't stop Progs from harping about it even longer ago.

Oh, there very good be a blue wave if Trump gets this budget proposal through which is going to be a stretch, wanting to cut Medicare ain't going to fly with seniors. No the obamacare repeal and gutting Medicaid might but not Medicare.

Trump budget trifecta: Plan aims to gut Obamacare, roll back Medicaid expansion, cut Medicare

You got that right. The election will go blue but not by much. Republicans will still hold congress. The democratic party is in shambles. Who is the head of the party? Schumer?

Since Trump became President, Democrats have picked up 21 legislative seats, 1 Governor's seat and 1 Senate seat. One of the things we have seen so far is that women are supporting Democrats in greater numbers than they did Clinton. That was the case in Virginia, New Jersey, and Alabama. The fiasco with Porter will do nothing to change that. Polls show that voters trust Democrats over Republicans on nearly every issue. If I had to guess, my bet at this time would be a Democrat House. I also see the possibility of a 50-50 Senate split.

Yes! You are correct! The people love Trump! No need for you to waste your precious time taking off of work (I’m charitably assuming you are employable) and standing in some dumb line to vote. This whole Blue Wave is a HOAX!!!

repubs will pick up a few seats in the Senate and probably lose a few in the House, but not enough to lose the chamber

if the economy stays solid, then Trump will win reelection in 2020 as well

Every day this piece of shit president continues to worry about and praise the woman abusers, he loses more women votes by the day.
He can’t speak of the women being beaten up by men because then his own long history of assaulting women would be brought up so he can’t have that.
The damage of having this creep as president grows larger every day.
