The corruption is HUGE.

Imagine that the NHS in the UK cost less per capita than what the US Federal govt spends on healthcare.

15% of all private health insurance goes to insurance companies, then there's big pharma pushing more expensive drugs and more often. People think they're not paying for things, so hospitals over prescribe to their heart's content. So, most of what people pay for health care, either through taxes or health insurance, doesn't go on health care.

The NHS works well. You will find Lefties here just constantly belittle the service. The only time they didn't, Blair et. al. was in for 13 to 14 years and they brought part privatisation in.
