I'm sure Glad the Martin Luther King didn't mention Jesus and Christianity. I'm also glad that MLK never mentioned that his father was a registered republican.
I'm curious. As long as you've been on this board, you have to know that after the voting rights act, conservatives fled the Democratic party and swelled the ranks of the Republican party. So yes, he was a "Republican", but it would be more honest to say he was a "liberal". Is it typical for you guys to be so dishonest? It doesn't bother you?
Having read pretty much every word MLK ever wrote, and almost everything that's been written about him.... I suspect he would be mortally ashamed of both parties.
It's the beauty of USMB that some of the most hilariously ridiculous statements kind of just sail by almost unnoticed.
