For one, Jesus never said he was a "God of peace". In fact, he said he carries his father's sword.

Glenn Beck called Martin Luther King, earlier in the year, a "poster boy for radical socialism".

Glenn Beck said Obama isn't a "Muslim", but a "different kind of Christian". Glenn Beck says his Jesus is an "individual Jesus" and is for "personal salvation" (I guess that leaves out the poor). Glenn Beck says Obama's Jesus is for the "collective".

In the past, explaining someone else's religion was unacceptable. In fact, if you are wrong, it's called "bearing false witness" and is considered a "mortal sin". But Glenn Beck is a "Mormon". Is that the same as a "Christian"?

Glenn Beck makes 32 million a year and only talks about the "individual". I've heard that referred to as "greed".

At first, this was a "for the military" rally. But Glenn wanted all his expenses paid. That means he couldn't make it "for the military". So he turned it into "Bring God Back".

You failed to address my post. However, I will address yours.
1) I never said that Jesus said He was the God of peace. I just said He is God. The awesome thing about God is that He is the God that brings peace, and He is the God that brings judgement. (Peace and judgement)

2) A person can hold an opinion of another person, and not necessarily like or dislike that person based on the opinion. His opinion of MLK's views on some things do not mean he dissapproves of everything about MLK.

3) I don't necessarily agree with all of Beck's views (as I have said before) and I disagree with his view about Obama. I believe Obama is a Muslim in his heart. I cannot see any kind of Christianity in him. Jesus is God of the individual, and love for the Poow was clear in His life. Just because Beck is rich does not necessarily mean he doesn't care or help the poor. I personally don't know his views of the poor. I know Jesus loves them.

4) People talk about other people's religion all the time, and even how they do or don't live out their religion. However, I personally never could see the Mormon religion is a Christian religion. They do not see Jesus as the Savior (Messiah), or divine. They believe they become one just like Him.

5) Your idea of greed is strange. I always thought greed was a selfish desire for money, etc, at the expense enyone and everyone (individually and collectively). If your last point is correct, I guess greed may be part of His belief system.

6) Just because I address the rally as a good thing doesn't mean everything about it was good, or that I would vote for Beck. Just a thought.

I'm curious. As long as you've been on this board, you have to know that after the voting rights act, conservatives fled the Democratic party and swelled the ranks of the Republican party. So yes, he was a "Republican", but it would be more honest to say he was a "liberal". Is it typical for you guys to be so dishonest? It doesn't bother you?
