I don't understand how showing support for teachers is a radical communist action.

The union movement is well tied to the socialist/communist movement. "Workers" are used as pawns by those two movements. And the WI teachers are just the latest ones.

Teachers in my state never caused a budget crisis and quite frankly I don't believe that they were the main cause of Wisconsin's budget crisis.

So you are saying that in our history, there has been no connection between labor unions and the socialist movement, and the communist party in America?
Well - for one thing - those that talk about small government (the right) time and time again have expanded government when they were in power. My niece is an elementary school teacher--and she insisted that I watch on the internet a program called "waiting for Superman"--it shows exactly how bad it can be with rotten teachers that school boards can't get rid of.
