Gun Free Zone - CHICAGO. What a ^%$#*-ing Disaster Libberhemmoroids....

Gun control only stops people from defending themselves. Criminals don't give a shit about such zones or laws.

Someday...maybe that will sink in to the heads that think otherwise. I won't hold my breath though.

The solution would be to have the same kind of gun laws enforced at a federal rather than state level. That way, people wouldn't have the same kind of opportunity to buy guns in states with lax laws (like KY), and transport them to places with strong laws like Chicago. The problem isn't with the gun laws per se, but rather with the way they vary from state to state.

Are you idiotic enough (well, probably yes) to believe that criminals really give a flying fuck about laws? That's the whole point of the OP, dingbat.
Dear Lord, what a dunce.

Sorry...that is a dumb argument....States without the extreme gun control laws of Chicago, and that have guns stores all over the place do not have the shooting galleries that chicago has in the democrat neighborhoods.

Can you explain that? How is it that cities in states with gun stores in those cities...that allow people to buy guns and carry guns easily, have lower gun murder rates than Chicago does. Considering that Chicago has the toughest anti gun laws in the state, and will not allow gun stores inside city limits....

You guys...do you think before you post.

He's a fucking moron.

So....riddle me this Batman.......

France...

Has complet ban on military rifles...you cannot buy them in gun stores, since no gun stores exist. You can't buy them in gun shows, since they do not exist either. They have extreme gun control......

And yet, all of their criminals, and all of the terrorists easily acquired fully automatic rifles, pistols, grenades and explosives......

Explain that Batman.

He's still trying to "flesh out" the first two queries.

Poverty, ignorance, gangs, drugs = an assload of shootings.

The gangs will get the guns if they have to smuggle them up from Mexico. Only difference then is the gangs will have another source of black market income in arms dealing as well to add to their drug money pile and the cartels likely get in on that action too.

Pass all the gun control laws you want, it won't change a thing.

The problem isn't having more restrictive gun laws, but there should be a uniformity in the laws from state to state. Criminals CAN get guns in some states easier than others, which is why they buy them in one state where the laws are lax (like KY), and then they transport them to places where the gun laws are extremely restrictive, and make a huge profit selling them to criminals.

If they can't buy the guns so easily in one state and transport them to another because the laws are uniform from state to state, it will cut down on the opportunity that criminals have to buy guns.

Please...can you explain why gun murder rates are higher in the cities they transport the guns to, as opposed to the cities where they actually buy the guns.....and where guns are sold in stores, and people actually carry guns around on their bodies......you guys can never explain how that works.......

If guns are the problem causing gun crime...then why are gun murder rates higher in cities with strict gun control? As opposed to cities with concealed carry laws, gun stores and a well armed public.

Instead, guns would be smuggled across the border. They would be automatics, with no controls, whatsoever. The only difference would be, law abiding Americans would have zero protection against those gunmen. It would be mayhem.

Yep. More guns are the answer. And when the rate of gun violence goes up again, more guns are the answer. And when the rate of gun violence goes up again, more guns are the answer. And when the rate of gun violence goes up again, more guns are the answer. And when the rate of gun violence goes up again, more guns are the answer. Repeat endlessly, and mindlessly.

Do you realize that as more Americans own and actually carry guns...our gun murder rate has gone down...that is a fact. The gun violence rate is going down, not up. Do you guys ever study the topic.....because you obviously are just pulling ideas out of your butts because they are always wrong....or if you get them from anti gun extremist sites they are lies...

So again....we now have over 357 million guns in private hands.....and our gun murder rate keeps going down...do you understand that?

We have over 13 million Americans actually carrying guns for self defense, and our gun murder rate is going down, not up...do you acknowledge that fact?

Detroit has been handing out more concealed carry permits...and their violent crime is going down....dittos Florida...

Detroit Police Chief: Crime Going Down Amid Spike in Legal Gun Ownership

The Detroit police chief has called on the law-abiding people of his community to arm themselves.

Now, James Craig says his city has seen a drop in crime of 12%, as Detroit moves lower on the list of America's deadliest cities.

In 2014, the Detroit police department issued more than 1,100 handgun permits, while more than 8,100 guns were registered in the city.

The number of shootings and robberies dropped from 2013. Home invasions are down 17% so far this year, Craig said, following a drop of 38% last year.

Craig noted that in a survey of 1,800 felons, the respondents pointed to "armed citizens" as the thing they were most afraid of.

Craig said his police officers are doing tremendous work, but said that there are more and more incidents in recent years in which a criminal encounters an armed individual.

He said his time working in Maine taught him about the importance of Americans exercising their Second Amendment right and he brought those lessons with him to Detroit two years ago.

"My time in Maine was pivotal for me taking another look at what good Americans who are armed can have on reducing violence," said Craig.

So....Detroit has more people carrying guns, and owning guns....and their gun violence rate is going down....showing that you are wrong...the answer to violent criminals is not disarming normal people..it is allowing normal people to protect themselves.....

More than one study has shown that violent criminals fear armed citizens even more than the police...they know that the police will attempt to arrest them, armed citizens have more potential to just shoot them....

Gun would pour in across Mexican border, like the drugs. They won't cover the border.

More guns and the gun crime rate goes down.....more guns and the crime rate goes down....and when the gun violence rate goes down again because more people own and carry guns....Repeat endlessly until the crime rate is down to really safe levels.....
