Well weather is what it is. And a population way over 8 billion people living in a lot of nooks and crannies on this planet can be affected. Improving infrastructure durability, increasing the energy efficiency of anything built, understanding what we build on barrier islands and flood plains would alleviate a lot of consternation with the continued investment in cleaner energy and cleaner energy products as the technology matures into successes while still using what we have today until it is overtaken. .

You can fight pollution and climate change as the technology becomes available and is used in a responsible way. The real issue with the human race is that it has flaws. People taking advantage of others is one. Experiencing constant lies by those with power in any way makes people jaded. When one with power extracts money from one who earns money for their agendas it causes anger at some point. All of the money that will be earmarked for the global climate change agenda will make thousands and thousands of Al Gore type people very rich with not much return as promised.
