Somehow, I doubt that Emma, a 15 year year old, would choose a 40 year old picture of Grace Slick as an avatar.

Actually, I don't listen to the music I used to listen to when Slick was in her prime. I am mainly "in" to new age music...mixed with A LOT of native american flute. Easy listening, but not elevator music either. I have my playlist I listen to which has different classes of music but normally I enjoy just silence.

Ol Grace is looking pretty good even now. When I did post pics of myself at other places (blogs that I used to do..and might do again), I would get lots of comments of "you got a Grace Slick thing going there, dontcha?"

And when I was in my late teens..I think I was 17, I took off with my boyfriend after he proposed to me during a radio song of Knight's In White Satin (dayum, I'm aging myself, aren't I?), all his friends said I looked like her too. I took it as a compliment. That gal had some struggles back then and pulled through it all. She still rocks, to me.

Eventually I will switch avatars to something else. I never stick to one very long. I get bored easily and like to play with graphics and design..even if it means swapping out avatars, lol.

I just wanted to briefly say thank you to the folks that Rep Thingied me. Even the two that Red Thingied me. I ran the gauntlet and came out unscathed!!!

Anyway....I'm still learning how to use these doomaflotchies and I think I have a handle on it now. But before I did, I got Thingies and had no clue how to respond to say "thank you". But I do now! So for those I didn't thank....consider it done ri'chere. In future, my thanks will be more private via the board pm system that comes with the notification of getting Thingies.
