People can quibble about individual policies that have occurred in the lifetime of the U.S. but arguing against its greatness really is an exercise in futility. Rome was not well liked by many in the World but they all acknowledged they were by far the greatest nation on the Planet. They were simply the baddest & smartest. Most nations could only hope & pray they would ever achieve anything close to their greatness. So is America the Greatest Nation on this Planet right now? You bet. Some may not like this but it is the reality. Case closed.

What is Greatness?

Who ordered you to kill women and children?

The US army.

I got busted/stockade once for refusing to call in a Napalm strike on a village. Nothing but women and children there. I had been watching it for days. They burned it to hell anyway. I saw it all and no one left before it was napalmed. Not one combat age male or weapon in the charred ruins. The official report did not say that though.

And that was not the only time things like this happened.
