Great Jobs Market: Might Make It Hard For Dems In 2018

What is bothersome for the GOP is that they should have already locked up the Senate for this fall, but despite a solid recovery (Trump had the good sense to not interfere with it), the Senate is up for grabs.

That means the election is going to depend to a good extent on how the electorate feels about the character of Trump.

The Brits showed him how they felt: they would have sent him to the Tower if they could.
The Senate isn't in play, despite Republicans not fielding any good candidates.

When you have losers like Clair on the other side....it ought to be easy.

That should have been an GOP seat, but the asshole who ran it would not step away after stepping in shit with his "legitimate rape" comment.

That loss was akin to the Hillary fuck up.

The only problem is that it was actually better under Obama.

Trump makes the headlines so much with all his Russian Collusion and his insulting our allies that millions don't realize they will find out in October that they will have no healthcare next year.

Trump steals all the headline space that no one knows Trumps tariffs are putting farmers out of business.

Trump is so in the news people aren't aware the jobs Trump is bringing back are being automated.

As long as Trump can continue to make it about him, he has a great chance of being re elected.

As long as Trump can continue to make it about him.

People loved Clinton for the economy.

They also appreciated the GOP house/senate (remember they tore them away from the dems in 94 like they tore them away from Obama).

The GOP looks good right now.

Let's hope they don't get to cocky and pull something stupid.

It really is so sad that you have no fucking clue.

This isn't about Trump so you can pull your head out of Obama's ass....it wasn't better under Obama.

This is from the article:

Also, in May, there were more job openings than people looking for work — for the first time ever. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there were 6.1 million job seekers, while employers listed 6.6 million positions available.

First time ever.

That isn't Trump. It is the economy.

Your problem is that people are going to associate that with Trump and the GOP and your shitty blue wave is going to turn into a low tide.

That is the OP.

Now stick with that or get the fuck out of the thread.

Democrats are going to push war with Russia.

Hard to run on the economy.

Of course, you have people like Diane Feinstein getting rich off of war.

The democrats are such two faced liars.
DiFi is getting kicked to the curb for a younger latino. As the population of California is replaced, so too, will the politicians be replaced.

The democrats are screaming so loudly about the Russian military attack on the democracy they are painting themselves into a corner where they almost have to go to war or give up and admit it was all phony.

First off, the June jobs report was a stunner, with 213,000 jobs added, compared to an expected 195,000. Employment grew in most sectors, including manufacturing, which logged a 36,000 jump. Over the past year, we have added 285,000 individuals working in manufacturing.

That is only the Establishment Survey...which is adjusted by the Birth/Death Model.

The number that the U-3 (official unemployment rate) is based on showed only 102,000 more employed Americans.

Hardly a stellar month for new jobs.

Employment Situation Summary Table A. Household data, seasonally adjusted

Well the DNC has its work cut out for it in the up coming elections.

The economy is strong, thanks to both Obama and Trump. Obama left Trump with a fair hand but Trumps actions have made it stronger.

UE is the lowest its been in decades. Hell where I live there are hiring signs out all over the place.

People have more money in their paychecks.

The DNC has one tough row to hoe. I doubt that blue wave will be appearing.

And when if fact it does ^^^

This isn't about data folks.

This is about perception.

Reagan hardly campaigned and wiped Mondale out in 84 because we had come up out of a really bad recession (certainly worse than Obama's mess...and he got us there faster.....crow away lefties....it sucks to be you).

Clinton was a lock because things were going very good.

Trump might ride the same kind of tide.

Trump's latest win: More Americans are saying, 'I quit!'

That’s just one more indication of just how crazy strong the jobs situation is today, and one more cause for celebration. Why is it good news that millions are saying “so long!” to their bosses? Because people only quit their jobs when they are confident in finding a new one and when they are hopeful of a pay raise. Today, they have plenty of reasons to be optimistic.

I don't credit Trump.

I don't credit Obama.

I credit America.

But.....it seems that people will associate Trump with this and it will keep him in power.

Good news...

Now, if only Ginsburg would hurry up and leave.

You don't credit Trump when you post articles titled "latest Trump win?" :icon_rolleyes:

Job and wage growth has been unremarkable under Trump compared to Obama years and it can't last forever. Historically speaking we are very late in the business cycle and a downswing would decimate the narrow upside Trump presidency has been riding on.

Not likely. In this situation, any but Trump would guarantee his followers smashing victories.

Yea, that why economy Reagan was dealing with was called the Great Recessio...oh wait, that was the one Obama started. :21:
