When you are the one not allowed to sit at a lunch counter, sit on a jury, keep your seat on a bus, or walk down the street without fear.

Ferguson is an unfortunate example of terrible behavior. But it is not indicative of our entire society. There is a black man on the US Supreme Court. There was a black man who was chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Secretary of State. That is a sign of huge growth in our society. Obama may be a liberal and a lousy POTUS, but the fact that he was even allowed to run shows huge change.

If you think returning to the days when law enforcement laughed at the ide aof being prosecuted for killing a black man, or the days when a black man could be lynched for looking at a white woman, would be a good thing, you are a sick individual.
