GOP to do what Obama refused to do - Go after Bush!

So was the annual deficit.

If wingnuts didn't make stuff up, they'd have nothing to say

The deficit was in decline until 2008.

Nope. The deficit increased more times than it decreased. the deficit increased when bush and the republicans controlled congress.

Let's see if you answer a simple question honestly: Was the 2002 deficit larger than the 2001 deficit?

It was in decline until Democrats controlled Congress.

How many jobs was the economy losing before Democrats controlled Congress in 2007?

This is why it's difficult having a conversation with your "kind".

For one thing, Democrats only had 49 seats in the Senate and we know, they "don't" vote in a block like the Republicans.

Second, the economy doesn't change "overnight". You can put a policy in place and the results of that policy will take years to filter down through the economy.

Besides, Bush gave a 2.4 trillion dollar tax break. Did it create millions of "new" jobs? Well, yes it did. In China. Was that the Republican's goal? If it was, it worked beyond our wildest dreams.

You know, it's OK to do some research. Not just repeat carefully crafted talking points not based in data or reality.

You mean it changed overnight from 2007-2008 but could not change overnight from 2009-2010?

You really don't know anything about budgets, do you? You don't even know how to refer to budgets. It's not 2007-2008; It's FY 2008

The Democrats won in 2006, but they didn't take office until 2007, by which time, the FY2007 had already been passed by the previous REPUBLICAN congress.

IOW, you're trying to blame dems for a budget the republicans passed. EVERY. SINGLE. REPUBLICAN voted for that budget

Now tell us again how it's the dems fault:cuckoo:

No, the economy was fine until 2007.

And the wingnut can't answer honestly. What a surprise!

Every Republican In Congress voted for the FY2007 budget which was passed by Congress in 2006.

In wingnut world, that means it was the dems fault:cuckoo:

Not only were deficits in decline until the Democrats elected in 2006 to take over congress were seated in January 2007, but the workforce was expanding. Rising percent of employed civilians & lower unemployment was the trend until 2007 when Democrats destroyed the economy, jobs & budget.

The last budget to show a declining deficit, yes.

It was the republicans who passed the budget that destroyed our economy

What cuts did the Democrats propose, since in controlling Congress they controlled the power of the purse.

Every republican voted for the budget that even you admit destroyed the economy.

Thanks for playing!!

Democrats had the votes do defund both wars in 2007, in fact, ran on that, and kicked the can.

So it wasn't the war spending.

Every republican voted for the budget that even you admit destroyed the economy.:lol:

Quit spamming and tell me which budget Republicans passed without Democrats from 2007-2010?

Quit spamming me and acknowledge the fact that republicans voted for, and bush signed, the budget that destroyed the economy.

Acknowledge that EVERY budget bush* submitted had a deficit that was higher than the one Clinton left him with
