From all the postings on this board, I thought it was all but a done deal. I woke up this morning reading the paper and saying to myself....WTF?

There were rumors that is was one of those things you vote no for a yes vote.

    Lies pretty much killed it.

Do you spend much time at DU? Cuz you seem to have an excuse for every fuck up the Dems make, but you're all over the GOP like white on rice.

Did the GOP cause the '04 tsunami?

The majority of people who are not brain-dead stoners realize that legalization of drugs, including pot, is not a good thing.. plus it would open up the flood gates, setting precedent to having even more dangerous drugs legalized...

For once, people out there got something right

you assclowns will wake up one day and the facism will be over.
If your proud of the booze industry spending millions and pharma companies to protect thier profits and continue jailing minorities (mostly) for it. More power to ya.

Fear mongering, ie people will drive stoned everywhere. They will show up to work stoned.

Middle class boomers didn't want to have to explain thier pot use to thier kids. Old people won the vote yestarday. Expect a much higher youth turnout in 12.

Besides Arnold decrimed Pot already so they didn't see a huge benefit. And growers in NoCal mobilized against it to protect thier $400 OZ price.
