GOP Majority Struggling To Get Things Done

I will say that is what Newt was able to do with Clinton.
Haven't seen it much since

Republicans have made Obama out to be the devil

Now, negotiating with the devil will upset the base. Republicans are like the dog chasing a car and once they catch it, they have no idea what to do with it
Oh, I dunno...

Inviting a foreign head of state of address the Congress, slapping Obumble in the process, and putting the brakes on His Imperial Majesty's latest Shamnesty for Illegal Aliens, does not strike most folks as 'bargaining with the Devil'.

But even if that proves to be the case after all... no big deal... although I understand why the handful of remaining Orgasmic ObamaBots would like the American People to believe that it's a big deal... I mean... after all... when you've had a 'shellacking' twice... losing the House in 2010 and losing the Senate in 2014... and when you have little left to you but to attempt Rule by Imperial Decree... well... whatever one can do, to try and put a positive spin on things...

May such ineffective brickbat-throwing be a consolation to loyal ObamaBots... it's about all they have left, at this late juncture.

Is showboating the best that Republicans can hope to accomplish in the two years they hold Congress?

They have an agenda that has been on the backburner for the last eight years. Now they have a chance to do what THEY want to do and the best they can brag about is....we stopped Obama?

Bunch of fools
It's only been a few weeks.

Stopping Obama (with regard to Immigration, and with regard to our relationship with Israel) is a good start.

Stay tuned for further developments.

After waiting on the sidelines for six years, you would assume the Republicans would hit the ground running on legislation that is important to them

Instead we get votes on repealing Obamacare for the 57th time and confirming that there is global warming
The same (hit the ground running) could have been said of either party - including the Dems - time and again, in recent decades.

No big deal.

ObamaCare is only a piece of the puzzle, as is Immigration, relations with Israel, the Iranian nuclear question, ISIS-ISIL-IS, the budget, and all the rest.

Nobody expected the Pubs do do it all overnight, just as nobody expected the Dems to do it all overnight, when it was their turn.

This hit-the-ground-running business seems to be little more than a whisper in the wind, and seems at-risk of being tainted by a case of sour grapes.

I think we can give the new Ruling Party a few more weeks, or a couple more months, before we start passing Early Judgment on their effectiveness.

But that's just me.

You need to strike while the iron is hot and Republicans are allowing any political momentum to dissipate

The key point is that Republicans are incapable of passing legislation that becomes law

Voting is like driving a car....

Select (D) to go forward
Select (R) to go backwards

It has been six weeks

What is the failed Republican Congress waiting for?

When are they going to do something?

They are, in the end, just simple Republican politicians. Thus, they will be ineffective and slow.

You guys know slow. Like Obumbler "shutting down" Gitmo. That kind of slow.

Congress blocked the shutdown of Gitmo with Republicans threatening a terrorist living in your town

Obama is slowly diminishing the number of prisoners to where even Republicans can't keep it open

But but but, Obumbler has a phone and a pen. And he legislates without bothering the Executive Branch.

So how could it be that the concern that closing GITMO might put the shithead Islamo-jihadist terrorist scum is the cause of Obumbler's failure to act?

I agree that the GOP "leadershit" in Congress is inept. Its collectiveineffective bumbling stumbling stupidity concedes the field to Obumbler. Boehner needs to go.

I don't think I've ever seen as much liberal butt-hurt flailing in one thread on any forum!

News Flash:

Elections have consequences.

Get over it.

Elections usually do have consequences but Republicans are blowing their chance to take advantage of those consequences

Unless the Republicans COMPROMISE and pass bipartisan legislation they will have nothing to show for their two years calling the shots

The midterm elections COULD have had consequences if only the GOP leadershit wasn't so completely inept, useless, dishonest and possibly corrupt.

Don't get excited, liberal Dumbocraps. The Dumbocrap Party is much worse.

“Is this just math that you do as a Republican to make yourself feel better or is this real?"
- Megyn Kelly to Karl Rove

Its all a matter of perspective :D

'Republicans "promised a new era of productivity and discipline that would break four years of gridlock." Where is all that "productivity and discipline" they promised?'

This is the consequence of a political party whose sole purpose is to oppose everything Obama, and being devoid itself of policies that can benefit the Nation as a whole.

Republicans have spent so much time opposing everything they've lost the ability to govern.

Fuck Obama, he's an obstructionist.

There was an election: he lost. He needs to shut the fuck up and pass the laws the people want

Frankie you are an idiot. Obama won both of his presidential elections. Wow are you stupid or what?

Pay attention fuckface. There was an election in November 14 and Democrats were shellacked of state and national level.

They need to get to the back of the bus

Well there's that. The Starkey Republicans love Obama

Now that Republicans are calling the shots, they find that legislation is not easy. Still takes bipartisanship and something called compromise. They can't even get agreement in their own party

A simple bill like Keystone and they can't get it done

Why should they get to the back of the bus?

Obama is still driving. Republicans haven't figured that out

We'd have gun control...
>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<
you fucktards have over 50,000 gun laws now that are only obeyed by law abiding citizens, when are you going to come up with and pass a law that will only affect criminals ??

go paint your shithouse and stay away from sane responsible American citizens.

Obama drove the government into the ditch. He was on the ballot and he lost -- big time.

Starkey Republicans are like the Jews for Jesus :: The former are actually just liberal Democratics; and the latter are actually Christians.

That car was already deep in the ditch...that is why America decided to let Obama drive

Since then, the stock market has more than doubled, unemployment is down to 5.7%, GDP is up, the dollar is strong

What are Republicans doing other than trying to throw the brakes on the economy?
