GOP Gets Their Wish - Unemployment is Up

Boehner had his face on the air today trying to blame the president on this, which is pretty ironic since Boehner was one the GOP'ers back in December claiming that the tax cut bill the Republicans wanted (and got) would end the uncertainty that was keeping businesses from hiring.

that was 6 months ago. Where are the jobs, Mr. Boehner?

Where are the jobs Mr. Boehner?

Jesus Christ, idiot.

Shall I post the You Tube vid of your beloved Obama during his campaign regarding how many jobs he - OBAMA - was going to produce if elected? Or are you capable of finding it yourself - Cleatus?

Pull you nose out of Obama's ass for a moment and suck on some oxygen, vs. Obama's orifice.

What an idiot.

Do you wish to deny that Boehner said that the tax cut bill of December (the one that COST 800 billion) was needed to get businesses to start hiring?

Go ahead, deny it.

I will deny it until I see a link to Boehner saying it. If you are referring to the Bush tax cut bill, this is what I got from two different sources:
Incoming House Speaker John Boehner hailed the deal but said there's still room for improvement.
"It's a good first step, but let's be clear," he said. "If we actually want to help our economy get back on track and to begin creating jobs, we need to end the job-killing spending binge. We need to cut spending significantly, and we need to provide more certainty to small businesses around America."

Obama described the bill as "a package of tax relief that will protect the middle class, that will grow our economy and will create jobs for the American people."

O will be booted out in 12 because of this and if high unemployment continues the next R in the house will get the boot after four years, in essence, musical congress and prez until we get back down to around 6 percent.

Congratulations to all of you who want smaller government! 39,000 jobs were shed in June. Of course, private businesses only added 57,000 jobs, so the unemployment rate went up, but that's what smaller government looks like!

So again, Congratulations!

You can blame the dimwits for the most part of the economic woes in this country. A report came out the other day on the news that said small business wasn't hiring due to the policies of obamaturd. Remember the housing market crash is the result of dimwit policies.

this is what we want?
you ever think some of the UE are republicans?
you and Toro think the same
you think you know it all, and yet you know nothing

The GOP leadership, and many on these boards, have been screaming forever now about smaller government. The need to shrink government. Well, what do you think that looks like? It looks like 39,000 people losing their jobs in one month.

This is what many conservatives wanted. Why isn't there more celebrating?
Too bad obamaturd and the dimwits in dc aren't among that 39,000.

Government spending is not taking money out of the private sector because it's being borrowed. Interest rates are around zilch.

Government spending takes real goods and services out of the economy. These can't be used by people to consume or businesses to expand. In fact, it matters little whether the government taxes or borrows the money it spends. The true measure of the government's burden on our economy is the quantity of goods it consumes. The cars, cell phones, furniture, aircraft, heavy equipment, boats, houses, office space, staplers and whatever it purchases are not available for others to purchase.

Your theory that government spending has no negative consequences is based entirely on liberal ignorance and stupidity.

Not Necessarily.
Reagan hit 10.8% during his first term and was campaigning with 9% and won his second term.
Roosevelt was reelected twice with employment of 16% and 14%.

Hey don't be stupid- don't be stupid and that's gotta to be the stupidest post I have seen in a long time. Government does not create jobs, they reduce taxes and regulations so that the private sector creates jobs. The private sector with all those people working pay taxes and the more people working the more money the government takes in- revenue- when the private sector( that is the bill payers for the nation) are not working then the government sector and government employees have no paycheck. Do you get it now.??? That money just does not grow on the tree to be plucked off by Obama to give to you. How's that for you- don't be stupid.

Can't possibly go any lower than Democrats wishing for our defeat in Iraq. That's just my opinion anyway. Lets face it,the Democrats were like giddy school-girls celebrating a slumping Economy and dead Soldiers in Iraq. Obviously they wont admit that but they know it's true. So if the GOP benefits from Democrat incompetence, than so be it. What goes around comes around.

Oh yes you can!!! The GOP wishing for more 9/11 like attacks on American soil. And unlike your twisting a Dem giving an opinion that we were losing in Iraq into wishing for defeat, the GOP actually did want more 9/11 attacks on American soil.
They still do!!!! At every opportunity somebody in the GOP tells the media, so the terrorists can hear it, that we are more vulnerable to a terrorist attack now than when the Bush Regime was in power. Even if that was true, and especially if it was true the last thing a patriot would do is advertise that info to the terrorists like Cheney did several times.

Arkansas GOP head: We need more 'attacks on American soil' so people appreciate Bush
Josh Catone
Published: Sunday June 3, 2007

In his first interview as the chairman of the Arkansas Republican Party, Dennis Milligan told a reporter that America needs to be attacked by terrorists so that people will appreciate the work that President Bush has done to protect the country.

"At the end of the day, I believe fully the president is doing the right thing, and I think all we need is some attacks on American soil like we had on [Sept. 11, 2001]," Milligan said to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, "and the naysayers will come around very quickly to appreciate not only the commitment for President Bush, but the sacrifice that has been made by men and women to protect this country."

Probably because it's not worth celebrating.

To be honest, misery is the Democrats ally. Where do they get most of their support from?

From the poor. What better way to increase their base then to put more of us into that category.

To the OP:

stupid-cute.jpg

That's a wonderful way to debate.

Someone makes a point..and you put up a stupid little cartoon calling them stupid.

How smart you are.

I wonder if this is why the country is in the crapper. Because smart people like George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, and now all the Tea Partiers in Congress that filibuster everything that comes down the pike uses this sort of technique to show why compromise just doesn't work.

They tell the other side they are stupid then ignore them.
