This is what happens when you have a society based on selfishness, pettiness, impatience, self centeredness and the inability to notice or even care to notice how you affect others by your choices.
We are also a nation of stark hypocrisy. People loooove to complain about how greedy CEO's and evil corporations move their companies overseas - but at the same time do not hesitate to buy a cheap foreign product made by those very companies.
We have the "leadership" we deserve. We have this high unemployment because we do nothing to support our own country, in fact we deliberately make choices that are bad for our country on a daily basis.
What do many Americans do well - - the opposite of what they say.
But by all means let's go back to debating red vs. blue.
