and work just 600 hours at it, if you are willing to then cut yourself off from any further loans. If you'll work another. 600 hours, you can then keep 18k per year coming in for 4 years. If your gradepoint is above 3.25, you can borrow another 4k per year, too. There ARE ways to live on food stamps, day labor, gigs on craigslist, and sale of your blood plasma, so that all of the loan money piles up in your bank. The $500 per year scholarships (given to everyone) and the grants will cover your actual school expenses.

The numbers for the first year are inflated by 5k, IF you know to start your college in January or in May, not in August.
If your line of study/work is nursing, teaching, police, fire, etc, those loans are "forgiven", folks.

Also, you do not have to be a veteran to get a veteran home loan. You just have to KNOW a (trustworthy) veteran, and give him a job managing the big old house that you will buy together. He gets a free room and $100 per week.

If he's like many vets these days, that's the best scenario that he could dream of, cause the job consists of him sittiing around all day, watching tv. He's already living off of food stamps and plasma sales, (in his tent in the woods at the edge of town). So rent and utilities paid and $100 per week mean that he's close to HEAVEN, and he's not going to let any of the other tenants mess up his good life.

Just curious here, have you discussed this with Warren Buffett?
