George Bush - the most popular president in US history

What? This entire post makes no sense whatsoever.

Obama hasn't had any "tragedies" happen on his watch.

Unlike George Bush.

Senselessly blaming Obama for some imagined future tragedy is absolutely ludicrous.

It was YOUR favorite president that destroyed our credibility, put us into TWO wars, and bankrupted our economy. Not Obama.

But you assholes just keep making shit up to blame Obama for. :cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo:

You say that Obama hasn't had any "tragedies" happen on his watch. Well, my way of thinking says that so far Obama's biggest "tragedy", or should I say "America's tragedy", is for Obama to have gotten elected President in the first place. He's nothing but a cheap, probably criminal, run of the mill, creapy Chicagoland political hack. He's as much of a crook as all the other ex-political figures that Illinois currently has in prison. My guess, is when they get around to truthfully investigating ACORN and Obama's role in it he will be joining the rest of the jailbirds. I can't wait for that to happen. Tell me, is it just me, or do all the Democrap Presidents these days get impeached?

Only when the Republicans want to try to go for partisan hackery.

You know, it took more than Chicago to elect Obama president. How do account for that?
Quite simple!
Highly ignorant, gullible, stupid liberals such as yourself, who fully bought into Obama's phoney B.S., hook, line and sinker!

Moer than that, the Left has been wrong every time in this country.
They were wrong about the Rosenbergs, they were wrong about Alger Hiss, they were wrong about Soviet intentions, they were wrong about Vietnam, they were wrong about Reagan and now they are wrong about every position they take.
You would think a movement so thoroughly discredited by history would take some stock of itself and go sulk in a corner.

As the History books continue to suffer more revisions to conform to the Rabbi's twisted views of world events.

Rosenbergs and Alger Hiss? Are you kidding me? After 60 years you still dwell on that? Both were nowhere near the evil commies you played them out to be. Rosenbergs were a conduit for information. Gold was the one who actually passed the secrets
History has shown the right wing fear mongers to be dead wrong about the capabilities of the Soviets. Their technology, tactics, training and most importantly financial capabilities were no where near that of the US.
Did you miss that whole toppling of the Berlin Wall stuff??

Wow, talk about not knowing your history and revisionism.
The scary thing is you probably really believe all that.

Seriously Rabbi...and I do mean seriously

Do you still cling to the Joe McCarthy view of the evil Soviet Empire poised to overrun Main Street USA?
Did you totally miss out on the collapse of the USSR? All the records and interviews with leaders showing what a paper tiger they were? The right wing fear mongers screamed about the Soviet menace right up to the collapse of the Wall.

Once again....The Right Wing is on the wrong side of history

And what do Right Wingers do when they are proven to be on the wrong side of history??
They rewrite history

Actually no!
I watched the greatest president in our history, Ronald Reagan, tell Gorbachev to tear down that wall. And guess what, He did!
Did you miss the worst president in history (for now) get schooled by a bunch of freakin' radical Iranian students?
The prime example of leftist foreign policy fully on display!

Oh I get it now...

All that Eisenhower, Kennedy, LBJ, Nixon, Ford and Carter had to do was ASK
and the Soviets would have taken down the wall.

Why didn't I think of that?

Reagan didn't ask Gorbachev, HE TOLD HIM, and Gorbachev buckled. Just like the Iranians buckled when they knew Reagan was taking office.

After 9/11, George Bush was the most popular president in US history. Not only was the country firmly behind him, but also much of the rest of the world.

The question:

If the United States were attacked again, would Republicans stand behind Obama? Or would they want him to fail?

Yea, and all it took was him allowing the worst terrorist attack in history. Remember what they were focused on while taking their eyes off the ball? Internet porn, and covering up the boobs on a statue--and while he was "cuttin' Bresh" out thar in Tex-ass, he got the warning "Ter'rists gonna crash planes into big buildings." So what did he do? Nothing. In fact, he almost helped them.

And, did the media make him pay for the total lack of protection, even when we have a defense budget that rivals the whole of the rest of the world? No, no they didn't. For nearly his whole term, not a single person questioned his lack of response to this direct warning, in fact, until they elected him again in 2005, they didn't say shit about it.

And the words "not for long" come to mind too.

This post is entirely laughable, clearly ludicrous.

So, who was on watch when the terrorists entered this country. Rented apartments. Accepted monetary wire transfers. Enrolled in flight schools. Completed flight schools. Roamed freely. Communicated with Al-qaeda operatives and, finalized the plans for the attacks?
Come on sparky, tell us who that was?
LMAO!
You liberals are so fucking stupid it's laughable.

And who was "The Decider" when terrorist hijacked planes and killed close to 3000 Americans?

Why it was George "The Buck Stops Here" Bush

Yeah things are real clear in hindsight.
The Soviet Union was all but finished. And then they invaded Afghanistan. They waged proxy wars all over Asia and Africa. They sure looked weak then, boy.
No, they didnt have any spy networks in the US. They weren't using Cubans as proxies in Angola. They didn't have more tanks and more troops in Europe than we did, no siree.
You are such a fucking tool it is beyond belief. You go back and re-invent history based on what we know now, rather than on what everyone knew at that time. Kind of like that Iraqi WMD, threat, eh? Easy to blame Bush when hindsight shows he (and every intelligence agency in the world) wasn't 100% correct.

HA HA HA HA...
Still buying into that Evil Empire crap...

Did you miss out on Desert Storm in 1991? It was in all the papers

See what happened to those Soviet Tanks? Target practice...complete target practice
Numbers of tanks mean nothing when you face superior equipment, technology, training and tactics.
The Soviet threat was a mere shell, even Gorbachev will tell you that. See the rust buckets that passed for a Navy? Soviets had inferior equipment, poorly trained and poorly fed troops, poor morale, no maintenance, broken supply chain and no money to fix it.

Why do you think Gorbachev was so eager for a peaceful solution?

Oh yea...I forgot....He was afraid of Mr Reagans "Mr Gorbachev...tear down this wall"

Ya' see, that's not what you are getting here.
Reagan knew we had the soviets by the balls. Militarily, technologically etc.
It was time for the soviets to end the charade. Reagan called them on it. Made it very clear that either the charade ended, or else. And yes, Reagan would have done something about it. The jig was up.
But, the soviets did have two things, massive amounts of troops to throw into conflicts anytime they wanted too. Thereby further de-stabilizing many areas of the world and, very effective ICBM systems that could deliver nukes anywhere they deemed fit. When you have the problems with infrastructure and such, as the soviets did, a country becomes very unstable. Their leaders become unstable. An unstable country with Nukes is a very dangerous thing. Think Pakistan nowadays.

I am just going to have to ask for proof here..

Show me where Reagan threatened to attack the Soviets if they didn't fold. Show me where he was going to "do something" to them.

God ...how far are you and Rabbi going to go in making stuff up when the facts don't meet your ideology?

The bottom line, regardless of what anyone says, for a time, George Bush was the most popular president in US history.

The GWB threw it all away. He could have been up there with Washington, Lincoln, Roosevelt, and he did not have the sand to do the right things the right ways. Now he is one of the three worst presidents of all time, rightfully so.

Hey Rabbi

Want to see how formidable those Soviet tanks were?

Tools of Violence: Guns, Tanks and ... - Google Books

During Desert Storm, an M1A1 Abrams tank became hopelessly stuck in the mud. While it was waiting for a recovery vehicle, 3 Iraqi Soviet made T-72s closed in for the kill. All three fired and scored direct hits on the Abrams, none of the shots could penetrate the Abrams armor. Unable to maneuver, the Abrams crew fired two shots taking out two of the T-72's the third maneuvered behind a sand dune for cover. The Abrams crew fired a sabot round through the sand dune and took out the remaining T-72.

This is the Soviet threat we faced at the end of the Cold War

Yeah he was.

Why was he? For reasons like this

And at that moment he could have bombed the shit out of the Middle Eastern country of his choice and satisfied our blood lust all with worldwide approval.
