General Strike in North Israel: Intifada 3.0?

While Mondoweiss has received praise for its content, it's also been a frequent target for criticism, much of which has come from people and organizations with opposing views on the Israel-Palestine conflict. This criticism has often included allegations of antisemitism.

In 2010, Mondoweiss was criticized by the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs for publishing a series of cartoons which they stated expressed "anti-Israelism, a more recent category of anti-Semitism".
So any criticism of Israel, no matter how justified, is anti-Semitism?!

Why do you feel the Israeli soldiers mentioned in the article are lying?

Quote from the article: First Sergeant, Nablus, 2005:

At first you point your gun at some five-year-old kid, and feel bad afterward, saying it’s not right. Then you get to a point where… you get so nervous and sick of going into a village and getting stones thrown at you. But it’s obvious, you’re inside the village, you’ve just passed the school house, naturally the kids will throw stones at you. Once my driver got out, and without blinking, just grabbed some kid and beat him to a pulp. And that kid was just sitting in the street and looked like some other kid, or wore another kid’s shirt, or perhaps he was that kid but that’s not the point. He beat him to a pulp. Didn’t detain him. Just beat him.

Please stop the feeble justifications for these child-beaters.

Can you believe your own eyes?

Second link was it a deliberately targeted strike or was it a stray that hit off target in response to illegal hamas rockets fired from the hospital grounds
Provide evidence for your assertion. How do you know rockets were fired from the hospital grounds?

Phoenall, are you some kind of Christian? You know the Israelis often despise Christians. Don't let yourself be used by the Israelis.

Then provide the substantiating evidence from another source, when you hit a brick wall you will have passed all the sites that proved that the author had made it all up. That is why I ignore anything from mondo and say it is all a lie.

Try looking at the UN records that stated the rockets were fired from hospitals, schools, mosques and civilian areas. They even fired hem from Hotels that housed journalists. So why do you ignore the evidence of these war crimes when the Israelis respond to illegal terrorist weapons attacks.

Care to detail where women and children were beaten in you videos as I cant see it happening. I see a lot of acting up to the cameras by pallywood amateur actors but that is all. I see much worse things in my local town centre when women go at the police when they arrest their boyfriends..
try these for examples of beatings

They must be lying - they disagree with you.

You failed to provide evidence. How do you know rockets were fired from this hospital?

And it's the Israelis that use human shields: UN: Palestinian Children Tortured, Used As Shields By Israel

In both links the only source of the material is Palestinian ones, so showing that you will acxept their word against the Jews any day.

If the evidence shows that they made it all up then they must be lying, when their own people say that they made it all up then they are admitting to being LIARS

Like this do you mean

Hamas DID use schools and hospitals in Gaza Strip as 'human shields'

Hamas admits it DID use schools and hospitals in Gaza Strip as 'human shields' to launch rocket attacks on Israel - but claims it was 'mistake'
  • Official says group had no choice but to launch rockets from civilian areas
  • Ghazi Hamad: safeguards taken to protect civilians but 'we made mistakes'
  • He refuses to accept responsibility for deaths in retaliatory airstrikes

Look at the videos is all the proof you need, see the faked uniforms for starters and the non standard weapons in use. Heavily dubbed sound that does not scare the birds, everything coming from off camera at a funny angle. The best evidence by far is the firing of bullets into an empty building. or the corpse falling of the stretcher and running away

Mondoweiss - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

While Mondoweiss has received praise for its content, it's also been a frequent target for criticism, much of which has come from people and organizations with opposing views on the Israel-Palestine conflict. This criticism has often included allegations of antisemitism.

In 2010, Mondoweiss was criticized by the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs for publishing a series of cartoons which they stated expressed "anti-Israelism, a more recent category of anti-Semitism".[41]

Between 2010 and 2011, Tablet magazine published three articles,[42][43][44] in which Mondoweiss, along with some other blogs, were thoroughly criticized. These articles characterized Weiss as a "Jew-baiter" & "intensely anti-Israel", saying his site is "obsessed with Israel and the machinations of the U.S. Israel lobby." and laden with "sweeping and unsubstantiated rhetoric".

Weiss responded to allegations in Tablet, by stating that the magazine had "smeared" him and several other bloggers as Jew-baiters.[45] Walt questioned the article's premise by stating that Smith's article contained "not a scintilla of evidence" that "Weiss, or I have written or said anything that is remotely anti-Semitic, much less that involves 'Jew-baiting.' There's an obvious reason for this omission: None of us has ever written or said anything that supports Smith's outrageous charges."[46]

In 2012, The Algemeiner Journal characterized Mondoweiss as "Purveyors of Anti-Semitic Material".[47] Also, Armin Rosen, a Media Fellow with The Atlantic, criticized Peter Beinart's blog, Open Zion (which appears in The Daily Beast) for publishing an article by Alex Kane because he is Mondoweiss's "Staff Reporter." Rosen wrote that "Mondoweiss often gives the appearance of an anti-Semitic enterprise."[48]

Robert Wright, a Senior Editor at The Atlantic, responded to Rosen's article, writing "This tarring of Kane by virtue of his association with Mondoweiss would be lamentable even if Rosen produced a convincing indictment of Mondoweiss, showing that it indeed evinces anti-Semitism."[49] James Fallows, a national correspondent for The Atlantic concurred with Wright's response to Rosen.[50] Alex Kane, Adam Horowitz, and Philip Weiss responded in Mondoweiss arguing that Rosen's article, "is about nothing more than policing the discourse on Israel."[51]

Later that year, The Algemeiner Journal published another article decrying Mondoweiss for its associations with Judith Butler, in light of her recent comments describing Islamist movements, even those of the militant variety, like Hamas and Hezbollah, as “social movements that are progressive, that are on the Left, that are part of a global Left”.[52]

In 2013, Peter Beinart, writing for The Daily Beast, accused Mondoweiss of "ignoring human rights abuse unless it can be linked to America or capitalism or the West", and said that "By admitting that they’re more interested in human rights violations when Israel commits them than when Hamas does, Horowitz and Roth are implying that they don’t really see human rights as universal".[53] Later in the year Commentary magazine accused Mondoweiss of being complicit in an "effort to delegitimize Jewish rights".[54]

Journalist Bradley Burston writing in Haaretz described Mondoweiss as "avowedly anti-Israel" in reference to its coverage of the 2014 kidnapping and murder of Israeli teenagers.[55] Haaretz itself describes Mondoweiss as a 'progressive Jewish newspaper'.[56]

In 2015, David Bernstein of the Washington Post called the website a hate site, and listed quotes from Weiss that he claims were anti-Semitic. This included Weiss' claim that "the Israel lobby...reflected a contract the American establishment had made with Jews to drive the economy in the 1970s,"[57] which Bernstein likened to a belief in an "Elders of Zion type group".

Hmmm, it looks like Mondoweiss is doing something right. You don't get that much criticism for nothing.

"In Anata, a village north of Jerusalem, a joint operation of the Israel Defense Forces and the Israel Police was conducted on yesterday to arrest Palestinians likely to be connected to terrorist activity.

"Anata, like the Shoafat refugee camp, where the terrorist who mowed down pedestrians with his car last week lived, is in a sort of no man’s land.

"The village is cut off from Jerusalem by the security barrier, but is located in a region where neither the police nor the IDF operate much.

"As a result, violent criminal activity flourishes, and sometimes it evolves into terror attacks."

Jews will not accept a Jewish state with less than a 4/5 majority of Jews.

There are currently equal numbers of Jews and Arabs living between the River and the sea.

For the last 66 years, Jews have resorted to ethnic cleansing to establish and maintain their ethnocracy.

They are preparing the next installment in Jerusalem at this very moment.
