Ahmed Mustafa, Gazan journalist: Open the Rafah crossing for emigration

In a post on Facebook by the Gazan journalist who lives in Khan Yunis, sharp criticism is expressed against the Hamas regime, Al Jazeera and Egypt. The translated post and the link to the source are below. **Make no mistake, the journalist is not a supporter of Israel and the post includes blatant accusations against alleged Israel of genocide.

Still, this is an unusual voice speaking about a topic that is causing a stir among quite a few politicians
and studios in Israel: voluntary emigration.

"I follow your enjoyment, you rabble, at the sight of our fresh blood. I examine how the number of views on the Al Jazeera channel jumps to hundreds of thousands when the armed organizations publish their military statements, produced on a cinematic level. They satisfy the desires of all the jubilant humans, who do not feel the taste of extermination, all the human waste interested in the continuation of the war, all those who do not want the organizations to give up anything as long as they continue to broadcast their operations and export their national orgasm.

In their dictionary, the entry "admission of failure" or the human measure of saving the souls of the Palestinians from the greed of the Israeli war machine do not exist. The masses, with the armed organizations, are preparing for the declaration of victory over Israel, even if it comes with the last breath of the last living children on Palestinian land.

I turn to all the cheerleaders outside the borders of our country: shut up, all of you. Al Jazeera does not show you what I see here in Gaza - hunger, thirst, cold, disease, squalor, protectionism, security anarchy, an inhumane reality. You do not hear the voices of the displaced, raising their hands to heaven and lamenting to God for Israel's exploits and the disaster to which those organizations led them. Al Jazeera does not place its cameras in front of the people who cut down the trees in the cemeteries to cook food for their children. She does not convey to you the custom of four young women to surround their friend in a circle so that she can throw her water in the open air, without water and without toilet paper.

No Al Jazeera reporter tells you about the blood staining the clothes of the women who failed to obtain hygiene products for their menstrual cycle. Al Jazeera does not host anyone who shouts about the tents that were donated but sold to destitute displaced persons at astronomical prices. It does not show the angry humans and the homeless sleeping on the rainy sidewalks without supplies or shelter. It does not cover the robbery of the humanitarian aid convoys and much more.

Israel perceives the discourse that presents Gaza as a power and turns it into a justification for the ongoing crushing of the Strip

The media mechanisms "on behalf of" should present the Gaza Strip as a power; They want to brag about their alliances and obtain broadcasting rights from them. Israel perceives this discourse and turns it into a propaganda justification for the ongoing crushing of the Gaza Strip. There is no use in critical coverage of the disaster or of humanitarian issues as long as there are those who use our blood—Qatar, for example—to strengthen their influence in the region.

What benefit will the media "on behalf of" derive from drawing the viewers' attention to the terrible plights of hundreds of thousands of Gazans, including my parents, who suffer from blood pressure problems and cannot find proper medicines or substitutes? What interest does this media have in covering the serious failure of the government of the armed organizations, which it supports, a government that, after the outbreak of the war, disappeared from the scene and completely abdicated its responsibilities? What will the media gain if we, the citizens, stand in front of its cameras and demand that the organizations give our innocent children shelter in their tunnels, like the one given to the dog of the recently released Israeli young woman?

The fact that none of you are interested in the fate of the common Gazan puts you on the side of the occupation: just like him, you unequivocally adopt the image of us as human animals who can bear any suffering as long as they enjoy some hay and fodder, indifferent to the conditions of their lives and the circumstances of their death. The bodies thrown in the streets of Gaza and under its ruins without proper burial do not shake your heart. Once you have satisfied the urge you call "heroism" you are ready and ready to broadcast more difficult horror shows. All this at the expense of our blood; Only our blood, you mob, no one else's.

Stop this disgrace immediately, at any cost. Open the land crossing in Rafah for the movement of Palestinian citizens, so that those who will remain here under the annihilation will only be those who are willing to trade their bodies for the "firm stand". This way we can say goodbye to the project for our forced deportation. Until that happens, shut up, all of you; You are the ones who rejoice and shout slogans of heroism over the rivers of our blood shed in vain. Shut up, all of you; You who trade in us and trade in our souls from the luxury hotels in Doha, from the presidential palaces in Iran, from the Riviera of Turkey, from the meeting rooms in Algeria, from the alleys of Amman and neighborhoods in Beirut.

Egypt renewed fence - Gazans calling to breach

The border fence between Egypt and the Gaza Strip today - after the completion of the Egyptian works to thicken the defense against breaching the fence.

Today, Gazan opinion leaders (from those who oppose Hamas) called for breaking through the fence and allowing Gazans to emigrate from the Strip through Sinai.

One of the most impressive arguments in favor of emigration from Gaza was as follows: The Prophet Muhammad also emigrated from Mecca to Madinah after being persecuted by his tribe - Quraish (hereafter: "the Hijrah") and therefore there is no obstacle for the Gazans to emigrate as well.

Nonsense.
It is the US and Israel that closed the Rafa gate in the first place in 2007.
And Egypt opened it weeks ago.

That's what Al Jazeera maybe telling you to fuel the flames,
because Gazans leaving abroad for travel and emigrating,
doesn't fit the narrative of the cheap cannon flesh,
for "the glory of Islam" and Arab imperialism.

The only factor preventing them leaving to find
a chance for better life for their children, is Hamas.

Nobody wants malcontents who go for a vest and a box of dynamite every time they disagree with something. Palestinians have become famous for blowing up literally every time they are unhappy with a local decision. Who the hell wants to import That kind of mentality into their homeland?
Suddenly all soccer games become places of fear and potential mass slaughter. Suddenly every marketplace becomes a target. Suddenly every public gathering becomes something that people must avoid. I say the Palestinians have done much of this to themselves unfortunately.
