The Biden administration is turning a deaf ear to Republicans pleading with him to ramp up oil production to help curb gas prices that are skyrocketing and further enriching Putin.

But hey, there is a war to wage on fossil fuels that is soooo much ore important

After all, elections have consequences, and one of those is you losing all your money to gas prices.

Environmentalists have had a say in our suffering. We are tired of it. They and other groups like extremist Prog feminist women have a leader of the world now having his nations' nuclear weapons on high alert in a local war.

Maybe you shouldn't have bought that big gas guzzler.

So how is Biden supposed to "ramp up oil production" when he has no power to order such a thing and our refineries are running full tilt?

It’s not just about personal vehicles…

Yeah, it kind of is. We could offset any loss of Russian Oil to the market by conserving or car pooling, but we won't do that. We'll pay the extra .40 a gallon and mutter about it as we slowly destroy the environment.

We should have had an exit strategy from petroleum in 1974 when the Arabs screwed us the first time... but we didn't.

Full of shit 24/7.

Same way Trump did, douche.
Trump didn't do anything. The president has practically no power to order the international petroleum industry to do a damned thing. OPEC cuts or expands production to keep world-wide prices where they want them and no American president has ever been able to influence this.

Good grief, how stupid are you? How do you think goods make it to the shelves? Magic?

Who the ph uk are you? Are you the arbiter of what is right or wrong? You have too much power. Without and you're pushing for others to pay for everything while personal was of living are paid for by others who live by morals is sickening.

Trump made the conditions for further exploration and exploitation of oil fields favorable, Biden is making them unfavorable. Oil is a fungible commodity traded on open markets, both spot markets and futures markets. Any government actions to make future and current oil production more difficult or even non-existent impacts these markets, even if the true impact is months or years out.

We are an oil-driven economy. Democrats and their environmentalist handlers had better figure out a way to positively influence oil prices or they can kiss off the ‘22 Midterms. Also, wagging your fingers at Americans for driving too much or shaming them for the size of their cars isn’t going to help.

Think Russia cyber or terror attacks----Biden and/or zuckerberg paid for election officials will demand ballot boxes put where they can't be secured to allow for massive cheating again this year.
