You're right, up to age 18, but 16 years if you consider delayed start Kinder and "free" preschool. And in many states schools run on property taxes at least to some extent, which illegals pay only minimally. And do NOT doubt that many illegals ARE the "special needs" kids, because of learning deficiencies caused by all kinds of issues. Like language lags, for example.

we spend $40B on foreign aid. why do that anymore when we can better use that $ at home?
