Im not suggesting leaving NATO but given it was orginally created as a deterrent to keep Russia from doing a Hitler style blitz accross Europe and despite all the Russian hysterics we see today the chances of Putin and Russia actually trying something like that today are incredibly remote it would seem there is no real harm in reevaluating our role in NATO.
