Fox News Washington editor caught on tape gloating about lying on air

I didn't overlook that, I merely realized that if they can see the trucks go in then they can see them go out as well as where they went to after they went out, therefore the "they took them away" argument does not hold water. But you overlooked that, didn't you.

They could see the trucks but not what was put in them. This is not James Bond. There are limits to the technology.

Where are those darn WMDs now?

Syria. Thought you were in the military?

Is that the best Soros can come up with? Dan Rather and the crew at CBS tried to overthrow the government with fake documents. They should be in prison. Did you people ever see what Bush was accused of? Get a life. Sammons might not have believed that Obama was really a socialist but it's a legitimate (and legal) process to introduce the question into the political discourse. God knows that the fawning, tingle up the leg, so-called mainstream media wouldn't dare to say the "S" word.

You must have overlooked the part where he said "I would also add, we saw from the air that there were dozens of trucks that went into that facility after the existence of it became public in the press and they moved things out. They dispersed them and took them away. So there may be nothing left. I don't know that. But it's way too soon to know. The exploitation is just starting."

Now let me get this straight. They see the trucks go in and they assume that they are there to take away the WMDs, but they don't follow where the trucks go after they leave because the can't assume they are taking away the WMDs.
That must be Lonestar "Logic" at its finest.

Of course.:lol::lol: I heard that one before, and we have laughed about that. You seem to think that our U.S. Military would let the Iraqiis just stroll over the Syria with their WMDs. Again, we laughed at that silly little theory. And, of course, we know what that theory's basis is....embarassment over finding no WMDs at all.

Hey...psssst! Syria. wink, wink, nod, nod.

You know, I just recalled the last silly person who said there really were WMDs and they were smuggled to Syria...and he was from Texas too. I wonder if Lonestar_Logic drives an SUV....

You asked for it:

Defense.gov News Transcript: Secretary Rumsfeld Remarks on ABC "This Week with George Stephanopoulos"
MR. STEPHANOPOULOS: Finally, weapons of mass destruction. Key goal of the military campaign is finding those weapons of mass destruction. None have been found yet. There was a raid on the Answar Al-Islam Camp up in the north last night. A lot of people expected to find ricin there. None was found. How big of a problem is that? And is it curious to you that given how much control U.S. and coalition forces now have in the country, they haven't found any weapons of mass destruction?

SEC. RUMSFELD: Not at all. If you think -- let me take that, both pieces -- the area in the south and the west and the north that coalition forces control is substantial. It happens not to be the area where weapons of mass destruction were dispersed. We know where they are. They're in the area around Tikrit and Baghdad and east, west, south and north somewhat.

You must have overlooked the part where he said "I would also add, we saw from the air that there were dozens of trucks that went into that facility after the existence of it became public in the press and they moved things out. I overlooked nothing, the fact that not every vehicle could possibly be tracked doesn't surprise me. Wikileak documents show that WMD's were moved out of Iraq and into Syria and two Iraqi Generals support that fact.

Of course they were....:eusa_whistle: Of course they were.

Totally logical to give your best weapons to a neighboring country while your country is being overrun.....:eusa_whistle:

And the overrunning country knowing ALL about it....:eusa_whistle:

What exactly did he lie about?

You do know that speculation isn't lying.

He himself labeled it "mischevious speculation"

Or perhaps you, like most liberals, are too stupid to know the difference.

Perhaps. but clearly he wasn't "too stupid" to know what his speculations really were, was he? He KNEW them to be mischevious

They were a lie masquarding as an idle speculation in a NEWS program. Such speculations are NOT appropriate in the news.

And that is the kind of mischevious misinformation that is pretty typical of the nature of the professional propagandist.

In fact, there's nothing remotely new about this technique of the propagandist. Character assassination by mischevious speculation as old as the hills.

Shakespeare understood the technique well enough (and he also knew his audience would recognize it, too) to put it into the mouth of one of his greatest villians..Richard III

Plots have I laid, inductions dangerous,
By drunken prophecies, libels and dreams,
To set my brother Clarence and the king
In deadly hate the one against the other:
And if King Edward be as true and just
As I am subtle, false and treacherous,
This day should Clarence closely be mew'd up,
About a prophecy, which says that 'G'
Of Edward's heirs the murderer shall be.

How many trucks can be squeezed into the facility and loaded each day? It hardly seems like an impossible task for our superior military intelligence force. And it was Iraqis who told us that there were WMDs in the first place, so whatever those "generals" said must be taken with a grain of salt. Our Iraqi sources have been proven to be liars already, but then again, we have been told that lying is perfectly OK if it serves the CON$ervative agenda.

The man who served as the no. 2 official in Saddam Hussein's air force says Iraq moved weapons of mass destruction into Syria before the war by loading the weapons into civilian aircraft in which the passenger seats were removed.

The Iraqi general, Georges Sada, makes the charges in a new book, "Saddam's Secrets," released this week. He detailed the transfers in an interview yesterday with The New York Sun.

"There are weapons of mass destruction gone out from Iraq to Syria, and they must be found and returned to safe hands," Mr. Sada said. "I am confident they were taken over."

Mr. Sada's comments come just more than a month after Israel's top general during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Moshe Yaalon, told the Sun that Saddam "transferred the chemical agents from Iraq to Syria."

Yes, it is truely is shameful how Dan Rather was rewarded with more money and many more years of employment at CBS.

1. Of course you believe him....now.

2. Of course you forgot about the no fly zone and how the Iraqiis couldn't get anything off the ground without us knowing about it.

3. I thought you said it was trucks....now it's planes?

Your speculating that it was one facility that could easily be monitored. Have any proof of that? Fact is Iraqi officials have admitted transporting WMD's to Syria. Can you prove they are lying?

Can you disprove it?

Go ahead and give evidence why these two officials and the two pilots should not be believed.

My guess is that you can't show either proof of deception or give reasons why the information is not to be trusted. You liberal pukes often say stuff like this should not be believed or that something isn't true with absolutely nothing to support your position.

So come on either put up or shut up!
