Polling one year out from the election is useless. Polling in January of 2020 said Trump would be re-elected in a landslide. He lost.

Polling in 2022 said there would be a "red wave". There was barely a trickle.

The only poll that matters is the election.

I am not a big believer in polls but they are interesting to watch and see the country’s mood.

ABC had a poll that 23% of Americans believe the country is headed in the wrong direction and 74% believe it is headed in the wrong direction. This should alert Democrats to change their message and Republicans to attack this weakness.
