I was in Cam Ranh Bay and Da Nang in 69 , I am going back to see it next year. The government of Vietnam may be inviting the Navy back to Cam Ranh

I went back in 1995 and wished I hadn't, it was almost unrecognizable. Fire support bases in the middle of nowhere are now carpeted in new businesses and places that friends died have disappeared. It was interesting, but I saw more business opportunity than I saw memories.

Ain't it something? We lost so many lives and shed so much blood so they could get their "freedom."

We got kicked out and they're achieving it on their own.
