I can tell you this much, I would be joining the Americans who embrace the Constitution and fighting for the values and rights of Americans as enshrined, against those same anti-Americans.

I admit, we do have a few in Canada who would undermine America, so America just has to realize that ones beliefs and core values, and their willingness to DEFEND these values is even more important than one particular work skill as you allow them to enter the country. Will that and does that eliminate people from certain countries or those with certain political views (i.e communists, neo-communists, socialists)? It does and it should in my opinion.

As Trump said, and I agree with him, "we want people who share the same values as America". This isn't racism or prejudice of any kind, it makes common sense. The core values are protected by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and support the inalienable Rights of man, it should be non negotiable. Of course people can't rid themselves of their history in their old country, but you are in a new country now. If you don't want to embrace Americanism, than don't go to America, and in turn, America should not want you. You are a unique country for a reason, and you can't lost this. Wrap yourself in the red, white and blue and don't be ashamed to do so.

At the end someone should have shouted "now let's go Make America Great!"

When people appreciate their country and the values those who stood, fought and died for, it's a huge deal. Also juxtaposes against those native born who undermine those same freedoms or insult the very system others die to reach.

Appreciating one's country is fine as long as you recognize a government run by a criminal elite, is reality.
