Florida Prepares for "Armada" of Refugees from Haiti

Florida authorities are preparing for an “armada” of refugees from Haiti, as the humanitarian crisis in a nation just 800 miles from American shores grows “far worse” than ever before, a former American ambassador to Port-au-Prince warns.

To respond to vessels coming from Haiti, Governor Desantis is directing Florida’s Division of Emergency Management, the State Guard, and state law enforcement agencies to deploy more than 250 additional officers and soldiers and more than a dozen air and sea craft to the southern coast of Florida. Mr. Desantis wrote on X Wednesday: “We cannot have illegal aliens coming to Florida.”
Interesting how the entire cause of this Haitian migration is crime & gangs, yet Haitians are willing to sail hundreds of miles RIGHT PAST CUBA, right next door to them, which has a lower crime rate than the US and much less gang activity.
Cayman Islands, Turks & Caicos Islands also closer to Haiti. Also less crime than the US.

It's the same old formula folks. Haitians smell those those Democrat inspired welfare goodies, and they're looking to cash in, same as other migrants from other countries.

I saw a thing on TV where they showed a video of smugglers driving a boat right onto a Florida shoreline. Thee hopped out of the boat and just abandoned it there. Smugglers must be getting a lot of money.
