Florida Prepares for "Armada" of Refugees from Haiti

They wont be "residing"in Florida. You can bet on that.
God is with them. If he sends them to Florida they will reside in Florida. If Florida mistreats them God will have a category 4 head that way. God is not to be played with.

This time just have the cots ready for them. They have no where else to go. Hopefully the White House will fund it. The American Red Cross will assist. Open up a middle school that has been closed. Some where that has separate male/female showers.

It's a humanitarian crisis.
FALSE! As stated in the OP, thy DO have other places to go > Cuba, Cayman Islands, Turks & Caicos. all closer than Florida, and lower crime rate.

You're nuts. They will NOT reside in Florida.

Explain your point (if you have one ).
Sure. I suppose it's in response to the usual alarmist news you spew about illegal invasions that never seem to materialize. :dunno:

Plus, you go by the silly handle 'Protectionist', while presumably living in a constitutional republic, and typing your tirades about the dangers of the CCP on a computer filled with components made in China.

Tell me, crazy person, what are your thoughts on TikTok? :dunno:

The United Nations should have the funds to pay for Haiti arriving and residing.

They are going to be so traumatized when they first arrive. They will need mental health treatments.

Great, let them get those services in Europe. Our inn is full.

Florida authorities are preparing for an “armada” of refugees from Haiti, as the humanitarian crisis in a nation just 800 miles from American shores grows “far worse” than ever before, a former American ambassador to Port-au-Prince warns.

To respond to vessels coming from Haiti, Governor Desantis is directing Florida’s Division of Emergency Management, the State Guard, and state law enforcement agencies to deploy more than 250 additional officers and soldiers and more than a dozen air and sea craft to the southern coast of Florida. Mr. Desantis wrote on X Wednesday: “We cannot have illegal aliens coming to Florida.”
Interesting how the entire cause of this Haitian migration is crime & gangs, yet Haitians are willing to sail hundreds of miles RIGHT PAST CUBA, right next door to them, which has a lower crime rate than the US and much less gang activity.
Cayman Islands, Turks & Caicos Islands also closer to Haiti. Also less crime than the US.

It's the same old formula folks. Haitians smell those those Democrat inspired welfare goodies, and they're looking to cash in, same as other migrants from other countries.

YT had some news. Biden orderd Coast Guard to escort boat people to America. Also a few tried to sneak into Dominican Republic and military at border killed them.

Dominican Republic does not fool around.

I saw a thing on TV where they showed a video of smugglers driving a boat right onto a Florida shoreline. Thee hopped out of the boat and just abandoned it there. Smugglers must be getting a lot of money.

Same thing going on in California.

Those are just small power boats, I'm talking about boats that will hold 50+ passengers

..

So you think the US should be the worlds dumping ground? Really??????

.
If we want to be considered a 'first world' country, we need to act accordingly, and that includes improving our immigration system. The fact you state immigration is a 'dumping ground' tells me you've been conditioned to reject it.

Not my problem.

What a trade, back in September the U.S. releases the leading Haitian troublemaker from a federal prison in Atlanta after serving 6 years of a 9-year sentence and we get all these in return.

Here's a thought, how about you move your commie ass to Haiti and help coordinate the boat lift, oh, and tell your family that remains here, to prepare to house them.

There's not much wrong with our immigration system that a merit based immigrations policy wouldn't fix. It's pretty simple, if you don't have a skill we need, you're a no go. If you can't support yourself and your family for two years while you get established here, you're a no go. Economic desperation is not a reason for asylum, the US tax payers should never have to support new arrivals. Chain migration and citizenship for noncitizens spawn should also be done away with.

The whole looney thing is because Biden (et al Democrats) need the VOTES, and they dont care what happens to the country, and long as they get POWER.

So, a caste system approach. Bold strategy.

Isolationism. Yeah, predictable.

Like we practice "Isolationism" from infectious diseases.

I think one of the problems is that wackos like this person, are not seeing the carnage going on where migrants re settling. As Iong as they watch channels like CNN, MSNBC, PBS, which hide all this stuff, they'll never know whats going on.
