FISA court approves surveillance of Trump campaign aide (2016)
On July 21, 2018, the United States Department of Justice released a redacted version of the application it submitted to the United States Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA court) requesting permission to surveil Carter Page, a foreign policy advisor for Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign, as part of its investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. The order authorizing the surveillance was approved in October 2016. The judges that approved the application were Rosemary Collyer, Michael Mosman, Raymond J. Dearie, all of whom were appointed to serve on the FISA court by Chief Justice John Roberts, a George W. Bush (R) appointee.[6][7]

Conway also appointed by Bush took the senior position.

while they may claim they are non-patinas, they are all republicans, so if you have a problem with Page's FISA warrant take it up with John Roberts.

Nice defense. "Well, they didn't stop me". Gonna let Trump use that?

The composition of the FISA Court is irrelevant. What matters is what information the judges relied on to make their decision. At this point in time every informed citizen knows that the FBI lied to the court. Both James Comey and Andrew McCabe signed FISA warrants and told the court that the Steele dossier had been verified. That was an outrageous and damnable lie! Nothing contained within the pages of the Steel dossier was verified and the FBI knew it! Making knowingly false statements to a court is a felony which should cause at least those two individuals to be disbarred and imprisoned. It is possible that the two received orders from an authority above them and if so those people are also in deep trouble.

The court made its ruling based upon evidence it believed to be true. They had no reason to question the truthfulness of the FBI. The fact the court approved the warrants does not prove they were lawfully obtained. Now it's time to wait and see if those involved in this illegal and traitorist scam are properly charged with the crimes they committed.
