First Presidential Debate (Domestic Policy): October 3, 2012

Participants: President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney
Moderator: Jim Lehrer (Host of NewsHour on PBS)

The debate will focus on domestic policy and be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on topics to be selected by the moderator and announced several weeks before the debate.

The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a discussion of the topic.

I agree. If you get X number of signatures and are in X number of states on the GE Ballot, they should be on the stage for Presidential Debates.

I'm sure that Jim Lehrer will ask all kinds of questions about how the candidates are going to make sure people have a job, don't lose their home, get a college education, feed their kids, get medical care, etc.

Because we all know that without the nanny government to take are of us, nobody could get a job, keep a house, get educated, feed their children, or visit a doctor.
