FEMA not doing much to help those affected by hurricane Michael

Why would someone need a person from the government to come and take care of them when it rains a bit harder than normal?

Are people really that weak and defenseless?
This is your idea of it just “raining a bit harder than normal”...

A month ago those people were bragging to their friends up north about how close to the beach they lived.
So?

The advantage of living near the ocean, there's a possibility that can happen any given year. People who don't prepare for it are idiots.

.
Who said they didn’t prepare? What amount of preparation helped anybody who stayed behind in those photos or surrounding areas?

And the deputy director of FEMA still has not been confirmed even though he was nominated over a year ago. Seems there is a hold up because of Democrats.
FEMA is under funded and understaffed. You have people who refuse to follow evacuation orders then complain when someone is not right there to rescue them. Most agencies are busy right now focusing on finding trapped survivors and trying to get some needed basic services back on.
Stop lying and blaming Democrats.

Dan Kaniewski was confirmed unanimously by the Senate in June, 2017.

Guess that what I get for believing CBS. FEMA under pressure to respond as Hurricane Michael wallops Florida
Oh? Where does that article say the Deputy Director is among the jobs not filled??

How about that national security issue we suffered when the Nunez memo was issued? How do you keep getting off ignore anyhow?
Sorry, but I can’t help your dementia which caused you to drag Nunes’ memo into a discussion about Hurricane Michael and FEMA’s lackluster response.
