Reminder: Bernie Sanders A Bum Who Didnā€™t Earn His First Steady Paycheck Until He Was 40 Then Wormed His Way Into Politics
bernie-sanders-59.jpg

(Gateway Pundit) ā€“ As Socialist Bernie Sanders continues to take control in the Democrat Party Primary here is a good reminder of this manā€™s shameful record.

* * * * * * * * * *

Bernie Sanders was a bum who didnā€™t earn a steady paycheck until he was 40 years old. He was a slob who lived in a shack with a dirt floor. He later wrote about masturbation and rape for left-wing rags for $50 a story. The Socialist then wormed his way into politics.

bernie-sanders-1.jpg

Bernie had his electricity cut off a lot so heā€™d run an extension cord down to the basement. He couldnā€™t pay his bills.

And today heā€™s running for president so he can take your money and redistribute it.

Investorā€™s Business Daily reported:

Sanders spent most of his life as an angry radical and agitator who never accomplished much of anything. And yet now he thinks he deserves the power to run your life and your finances ā€” ā€œWe will raise taxes;ā€ he confirmed Monday, ā€œyes, we will.ā€

One of his first jobs was registering people for food stamps, and it was all downhill from there.

Sanders took his first bride to live in a maple sugar shack with a dirt floor, and she soon left him. Penniless, he went on unemployment. Then he had a child out of wedlock. Desperate, he tried carpentry but could barely sink a nail. ā€œHe was a shi**y carpenter,ā€ a friend told Politico Magazine. ā€œHis carpentry was not going to support him, and didnā€™t.ā€

Then he tried his hand freelancing for leftist rags, writing about ā€œmasturbation and rapeā€ and other crudities for $50 a story. He drove around in a rusted-out, Bondo-covered VW bug with no working windshield wipers. Friends said he was ā€œalways poorā€ and his ā€œelectricity was turned off a lot.ā€ They described him as a slob who kept a messy apartment ā€” and this is what his friends had to say about him.

The only thing he was good at was talking ā€¦ non-stop ā€¦ about socialism and how the rich were ripping everybody off. ā€œThe whole quality of life in America is based on greed,ā€ the bitter layabout said. ā€œI believe in the redistribution of wealth in this nation.ā€

So he tried politics, starting his own socialist party. Four times he ran for Vermont public office, and four times he lost ā€” badly. He never attracted more than single-digit support ā€” even in the Peopleā€™s Republic of Vermont. In his 1971 bid for U.S. Senate, the local press said the 30-year-old ā€œSanders describes himself as a carpenter who has worked with ā€˜disturbed children.ā€™ ā€ In other words, a real winner.

He finally wormed his way into the Senate in 2006, where he still ranks as one of the poorest members of Congress. Save for a municipal pension, Sanders lists no assets in his name. All the assets provided in his financial disclosure form are his second wifeā€™s. He does, however, have as much as $65,000 in credit-card debt.

Sure, Sanders may not be a hypocrite, but this is nothing to brag about. His worthless background contrasts sharply with the successful careers of other ā€œoutsidersā€ in the race for the White House, including a billionaire developer, a world-renowned neurosurgeon and a Fortune 500 CEO.

The choice in this election is shaping up to be a very clear one. It will likely boil down to a battle between those who create and produce wealth, and those who take it and redistribute it.

So it only makes sense that Democrats would look to Bernie to be their leader.

The Gateway Pundit is far-right news and opinion website whose stated goal is to ""expose the wickedness of the left." It can hardly be considered an unbiased information source. I'd like to see your accusations about Bernie's background written in a reliable, unbiased print source. Got anything?

According to Wiki, which has no agenda, "After graduating from college, Sanders returned to New York City, where he briefly had a variety of jobs, including Head Start teacher, psychiatric aide, and carpenter.[24] In 1968 he moved to Stannard, Vermont, a town small in both area and population (88 residents at the 1970 census) within Vermont's extremely rural "Northeast Kingdom" region, because he had been "captivated by rural life". While there he worked as a carpenter,[26] filmmaker, and writer[39] who created and sold "radical film strips" and other educational materials to schools.[40] He also wrote several articles for the alternative publication The Vermont Freeman.[41] He lived in the area for several years before moving to the more populous Chittenden County in the mid-1970s. During his 2018 reelection campaign, he returned to the town to hold an event with voters and other candidates on November 3.[42]" Just because something is an alternative publication, that does not mean its articles are about sexual behavior or are base and crude. The Vermont Freeman doesn't sound like a dirty mag. He apparently worked many years as a freelancer. That's not 'not working.' Those people work just as hard, if not more so, than those with 9-5 jobs.

It seems he was a political activist in college and remained so for many years until he was elected mayor of Burlington, Vermont. Before being mayor of Burlington, he lived in a very rural (population of 88) area for several years, which is where he may have had problems with utilities and lived in a house that was not first rate. I highly doubt it had a dirt floor. That's The Pundit speaking. Maybe the basement had a dirt floor. Many of those old houses did/do.

Sanders became mayor of Burlington in 1981 and "was reelected three times, defeating both Democratic and Republican candidates. He received 53% of the vote in 1983 and 55% in 1985.[50] In his final run for mayor in 1987, Sanders defeated Paul Lafayette, a Democrat endorsed by both major parties.[51] In 1986, he unsuccessfully challenged incumbent Governor Madeleine Kunin (D) in her run for reelection." Though he did run for and lose an election for governor of the state, how many times did Drumph run for president before being elected. Or do you not realize 2016 was not his first time running for president?

"In 1987, U.S. News & World Report ranked Sanders one of America's best mayors."

He was Burlington's mayor for 4 two year terms and then did not seek reelection, instead teaching political science at Harvard. Yep, what a loser. He was a US Congressman for 16 years and has been a senator since 2007. That doesn't happen unless you are popular enough to be re-elected. During the 2016 election, he was actually polled to be more likely to beat Drumph than Clinton and may well have if he'd been the nominee.

I am not a Bernie supporter. I have not yet chosen who I will vote for. But I do believe in truth, not lies. A radical, extreme source like the Gateway Pundit is not a source to rely on or believe. It seems the Right must be very afraid of Bernie, otherwise they wouldn't come up with such horrendous nonsense. He is scaring you. LOL

He thinks women want to be raped by three men
Is it true, that one of Don's x-wives started to charge him with rape until he paid her off like his other whores?
Huh
Yes it is true. Ivanna during the divorce charged him with rape, forcible rape while they were married. She dropped the charges when he gave her more money. He's a pig.
How does money stop prosecutors from going forward with the evidence?
When some one drops charges isn't it over??
It's over if the victim of a sexual assault refuses to press charges. They can't proceed because she won't be a witness and they don't have any other evidence strong enough to get a conviction. They won't proceed with a case if they know they can't win.

Paid Stormy Daniels a pretty penny. Juuuuuuuuuuuuuust before the election, which is like, total coincidence and shit.
If I am not mistaken, that is where Trump became un-indicted co-conspirator #1, along with his long time lawyer, who is serving time on the conviction now. Or was it the playboy playmate he was having sex with while his 3rd wife was pregnant? It gets hard to keep track of the women he's paid off to keep silent about sex, so he would be acceptable to the Baptists and the Presbyterians, before the election.
Two words, president Clinton. He made it okay, I lost any dignity in a president after him. Thank you !

Member when Clinton got indicted for perjury because first he made up fake press agents to plant stories about his own extramarital fornications, denied it, then admitted it in court, then denied it again?

Oh wait, that was Rump.
Impeached Clinton set the standard.

--- For?
Set the bar low for being president.

Scares the shit out of you huh.

This desperation is the amusing part.

Oh and take a look around and notice that you have a POTUS who not only paints himself orange but until three years ago never held a job in his life. As I always said, what a great plan, take a doofus who's never had a job or any position of responsibility at all, including military.. parenting... stiffing investors with bankruptcies... and plunk him into the most responsible job in the world. What a great plan, what could POSSIBLY go wrong.

As an unaffiliated voter in Colorado, I can vote in either the Republican or Democratic primary. I filled out my democratic ballot today for Bernie.

Why? At this point, he looks like a possible winner of the nomination and the easiest to beat in a general election. Even if the economy busts before November (a strong possibility IMO), I canā€™t see a socialist/communist winning.

I have the same status here. I don't know yet who I'm gonna vote for. Bernie prolly doesn't need my help.

Ultimately though I realize the party, not us voters, will decide who the nominee is.

Yes, that is definitely the case on the Democrats side. They donā€™t really like to leave those decisions to the voters.

That's how political parties work. Ask Teddy Roosevelt about that. Ask Bernie Sanders too. Primaries are basically entertainment, or as it's usually characterized, "bread and circus".

Then Trump must be a political wizard, because NOBODY in the RNC wanted him as the nominee. He knocked out every candidate the RNC wanted and was the only one left standing.

If I am not mistaken, that is where Trump became un-indicted co-conspirator #1, along with his long time lawyer, who is serving time on the conviction now. Presidential historians rate Clinton as 15 in the top 20 best American presidents; Obama is 12. This is in the top 20, which are a mix of conservative and liberal presidents. Not all of those higher than Obama or Clinton are conservative, it's a mix. Mark my word: Drumph will be rated at the very, very bottom. The impeachment of Clinton was based on an investigation that lasted 8 years and finding only one thing, that he lied about sex. Extremely partisan. It set the bar low for how Republicans act. That's what bar was set low.

If the victim won't testify, there is no evidence. He gave her more money in the divorce to withdraw the allegation.

I wonder why you think it necessary to call me names. I haven't sexually assaulted anyone, and bragged about it. I haven't had sex with a porn star while my wife was giving birth. I haven't stiffed people who worked for me. I haven't cheated on my taxes. Who is the real lowlife?

So Drumph is not the lowlife, just his wife of 14 years, with whom he has 3 children? My my, why would such a standup guy marry such a horrible woman?

I'm semi-proud to say I am personally banned by the Hateway Plunder, because I went in their commentary section and called them out on their bullshit. They don't tolerate any dissent from the Jim the Fuck Hoft fantasy hallucination.

When some wag starts a thread based on a Hateway Plunder piece it's a dead giveaway of desperation. This one absolutely reeks of it.

You're not wrong about the scenario but that's not "political" wizardry. He doesn't even have any politics. That's called Selling Snake Oil, which always uses Appeal to Emotion. The operative word being Selling.

Yes, the people we have to thank for Drumph's election are the people who bought the snake oil.

It could be argued he is the most successful politician in the last 50 years.
Consider- He had no public service experience, ran one campaign for the most powerful political position in the world, and he won. Not bad for a political novice.

A better description of Trump is a carnival barker.39AF1FE0-400B-4EAF-A81A-3DFE760739B1.png

How does money stop prosecutors from going forward with the evidence?
When some one drops charges isn't it over??
NoT if there is evidence of a rape ,, any evidence low life?
If the victim won't testify, there is not evidence. He gave her more money in the divorce to withdraw the allegation.
So no evidence just another blonde making fake claims .. let me know when you have evidence
So Drumph is not the lowlife, just his wife of 14 years, with whom he has 3 children? My my, why would such a standup guy marry such a horrible woman?
Huh
