Reminder: Bernie Sanders A Bum Who Didnā€™t Earn His First Steady Paycheck Until He Was 40 Then Wormed His Way Into Politics
bernie-sanders-59.jpg

(Gateway Pundit) ā€“ As Socialist Bernie Sanders continues to take control in the Democrat Party Primary here is a good reminder of this manā€™s shameful record.

* * * * * * * * * *

Bernie Sanders was a bum who didnā€™t earn a steady paycheck until he was 40 years old. He was a slob who lived in a shack with a dirt floor. He later wrote about masturbation and rape for left-wing rags for $50 a story. The Socialist then wormed his way into politics.

bernie-sanders-1.jpg

Bernie had his electricity cut off a lot so heā€™d run an extension cord down to the basement. He couldnā€™t pay his bills.

And today heā€™s running for president so he can take your money and redistribute it.

Investorā€™s Business Daily reported:

Sanders spent most of his life as an angry radical and agitator who never accomplished much of anything. And yet now he thinks he deserves the power to run your life and your finances ā€” ā€œWe will raise taxes;ā€ he confirmed Monday, ā€œyes, we will.ā€

One of his first jobs was registering people for food stamps, and it was all downhill from there.

Sanders took his first bride to live in a maple sugar shack with a dirt floor, and she soon left him. Penniless, he went on unemployment. Then he had a child out of wedlock. Desperate, he tried carpentry but could barely sink a nail. ā€œHe was a shi**y carpenter,ā€ a friend told Politico Magazine. ā€œHis carpentry was not going to support him, and didnā€™t.ā€

Then he tried his hand freelancing for leftist rags, writing about ā€œmasturbation and rapeā€ and other crudities for $50 a story. He drove around in a rusted-out, Bondo-covered VW bug with no working windshield wipers. Friends said he was ā€œalways poorā€ and his ā€œelectricity was turned off a lot.ā€ They described him as a slob who kept a messy apartment ā€” and this is what his friends had to say about him.

The only thing he was good at was talking ā€¦ non-stop ā€¦ about socialism and how the rich were ripping everybody off. ā€œThe whole quality of life in America is based on greed,ā€ the bitter layabout said. ā€œI believe in the redistribution of wealth in this nation.ā€

So he tried politics, starting his own socialist party. Four times he ran for Vermont public office, and four times he lost ā€” badly. He never attracted more than single-digit support ā€” even in the Peopleā€™s Republic of Vermont. In his 1971 bid for U.S. Senate, the local press said the 30-year-old ā€œSanders describes himself as a carpenter who has worked with ā€˜disturbed children.ā€™ ā€ In other words, a real winner.

He finally wormed his way into the Senate in 2006, where he still ranks as one of the poorest members of Congress. Save for a municipal pension, Sanders lists no assets in his name. All the assets provided in his financial disclosure form are his second wifeā€™s. He does, however, have as much as $65,000 in credit-card debt.

Sure, Sanders may not be a hypocrite, but this is nothing to brag about. His worthless background contrasts sharply with the successful careers of other ā€œoutsidersā€ in the race for the White House, including a billionaire developer, a world-renowned neurosurgeon and a Fortune 500 CEO.

The choice in this election is shaping up to be a very clear one. It will likely boil down to a battle between those who create and produce wealth, and those who take it and redistribute it.

So it only makes sense that Democrats would look to Bernie to be their leader.

Does anyone else smell smoke? You know what they say: "Where there's smoke, there's fire."

Oh, never mind. That's just Bernie's presidential aspirations going up in flames.

Bernie is little more than a useful idiot. They used him 2016 to eliminate other democrat presidential candidates (his own party did this), and then the Republicans used him that same year to shave votes off Hillary Clinton. This time around, they're using him for similar purposes; to eliminate Biden and pave the way for a Dark Horse juggernaut. And years before either presidential race mentioned above, they used him as a curio, as an oddity and tale warning other little democrats what not become when they grew up. Even his most dedicated flock of supporters is using him as a communist trojan horse into White House level politics. Bernie just wants to be President, while many of his supporters expect him to bring about some kind of communist vanguard style revolution. In the end, Bernie is and always has been nothing more than a whipping boy tool.

Scares the shit out of you huh.

This desperation is the amusing part.

Oh and take a look around and notice that you have a POTUS who not only paints himself orange but until three years ago never held a job in his life. As I always said, what a great plan, take a doofus who's never had a job or any position of responsibility at all, including military.. parenting... stiffing investors with bankruptcies... and plunk him into the most responsible job in the world. What a great plan, what could POSSIBLY go wrong.

While it can validly be argued whether or not the presidency is the right job for Donald Trump, how can you legitimately equate Bernie's history to his?

I don't. Not at all.
Sanders has held actual jobs. That seems to be where the OP desperately tries to reach to with his scrape-scrape-scrape of dirt floors in the 1970s.

Trump has built multiple business empires that were very successful along with some that weren't. I don't see how Sanders' "actual" jobs in the past are even a remotely valid comparison.

When your Daddy makes you a multi millionaire at the age of 3 you don't need a job Trump wouldn't have qualified for one anyway Was money laundering a subject at Wharton?

Rump didn't build shit. He stood still while Daddy stuffed his pockets with cash he scammed from the government. Then he whizzed it away on airlines and casinos and vitamins where you send in your pee and the collapse of the USFL, festooned his name on buildings and then went "I didn't run the company, I only licensed my name", stiffed employees, stiffed creditors, stiffed Stormy Daniels, stiffed the draft with fake doctor notes about astonishingly excellent bone spurs, any way at all to weasel out of responsibilities. Weaseled out of discriminating against black renters too, then did it again, under the tutelage of the Master Weasel Roy Cohn. The asshole has never taken responsibility for a damn thing in his life, can't even bring himself to admit he said "Tim Apple" or snubbed Missouri when Kansas City won a title.

He didn't build shit except that reputation, and it's a damn seedy one.

Having an actual job on the other hand requires presenting one's best self to a prospective employer, knowing one may or may not get that position, and if one does get it having to meet somebody else's expectations continuously, whether one feels like it or not, knowing that if one doesn't meet those expectations one can be replaced. THAT's what a job is, a simple process the vast majority of us have all been through. Not Rump. He's been handed everything all his life and has never had to meet ANYBODY's expectations, because in his world of self-delusion he just makes it up, and presto, would means wouldn't and Fred Trump was born in Germany.

Fuck that delusional shit.

As for Sanders -- a candidate (Senator, before that Congressman, before that Mayor) has to present himself to voters in the same way, and then meet their expectations or get voted out. He's done that for forty years, earning the highest approval rating of anyone in the US Senate.

But forget all that, let's have Jim Huckster Hoft tell us about dirt floors in the 19frickin'70s.

I don't see why you have an issue with the fact that someone was given a million dollars and was able to turn it into a billion dollars multiple times, other than the fact nobody did it for you.

Your entire criticism of Trump is rife with your own personal bias. What are the "actual" jobs that Sanders had prior to being elected to office that you feel better qualifies him for the presidency?

"A" million? Singular? Why are you deliberately understating it?

Financial whizzes by the way have figured out that Rump would have ended up with the same amount of money had he put his enormously bigly ego in the back seat and simply invested it like anybody else, so he didn't "turn it into" jack shit other than a myth that the Gullibles will line up to buy like snake oil. That is, of course, snake oil where you send in your pee so you can get personally tailored snake oil...

Of course ------ nobody really knows how much money he has today or doesn't have, do they. All we have is what he claims, the same guy who claims the Bronx is a very wonderful place in Germany and the continental army took over the airports.

What ever happened to those promised tax returns? Should we ask John Miller or John Baron? Are they in that fake Time Magazine? Are they enclosed in a package of Rump Steaks?

Why do you think he had to settle a FRAUD suit before the Electoral College voted?

Good gods people, WAKE UP.

Did Sanders accomplish that?
