Essentially you have tacitly admitted that it was a fear of "an eternity of fiery punishment" that caused you to "accept" under duress "God's plan for the future salvation". That you are "at peace" with a "choice" that you made without access to all of the requisite knowledge necessary to make an informed decision is simply a rationalization on your part.
