Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni was a member of the neo-fascist Youth Front, and her party traces its roots back to the same former fascist group. Meloni would not say it publicly now as Italy's prime minister after she softened her fascist image to be more acceptable. Compared to Meloni, Trump is a liberal internationalist.
