A society that is similar to each other is a more comfortable and familiar society.

If you have a society of people who look alike, have the same culture, have the same religion, the same values and morals and standards, and the same language then no matter where you go every stranger you meet is familiar to you. You will have less discomfort and anger and people are more willing to show consideration for each other and help each other.

Now America has dozens and dozens of different cultures, languages, religions, beliefs and values and each one has other sub groups. And none of them want to conform, they want everyone else to conform to them. Or they want to stand outside the rest and don't want to join in with the rest.

There is a reason when America was almost entirely white and Christian people we went from nothing to a major world super power in record time and stayed there for a hundred years. But as soon we are diversifying our nation we began to slide. Now we're just a mass of divided groups all arguing.

Diversity is great person to person, but as a nation of hundreds of millions? Diversity sucks
