There is no "ethnic Cleansing? What are you an idiot?

Although there is no legal definition of ethnic cleansing, from its widely accepted non-technical definition [23] , it is possible to deduce some common elements. Firstly, what can be considered as a subjective element of ethnic cleansing is the fact that it is systematically carried out with a clear intent to create an ethnically homogeneous area by removing another group of people from their own territory by using force or intimidation or any other method. Secondly, the objective element of ethnic cleansing is that it is perpetrated against a particular group of people, according to their racial, ethnic, national, religious or other characteristics, which involves mass deportations or forceful transfer of people, intimidations by different methods, murder, torture, arbitrary detention, etc.

Ethnic cleansing is not about numbers. It is about location. It is about moving people out of areas where they are not wanted. Israel does commit the violations listed above.

House demolitions and forced evictions are
among Israel’s most heinous practices in the
Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT). In
2011, a record year of displacement, a total of
622 Palestinian structures were demolished by
Israeli authorities, of which 36% (or 222) were
family homes; the remainder were livelihood-
related (including water storage and agricultural
structures), resulting in 1,094 people displaced,
almost double the number for 2010.

http://icahdusa.org/multimedia/downloads/2012/04/Judaization-of-Palestine.pdf

Of course similar practices have been carried out in "Israel proper" since 1948 and they continue to today.

Yes.

Ethnic cleansing has two main focii...

1. killing a population

2. relocating a population

The former is heinous and universally condemned.

The latter is tragic and often unpopular but also oftentimes necessary for long-term peace and security.

Just ask the Hindus, who were obliged to evacuate from Muslim-controlled territory in 1947, when British Imperial India fragmented.

Just ask the Muslims, who were obliged to evacuate from Hindu-controlled territory in 1947, when British Imperial India fragmented.

Just ask the ethnic Germans who were driven out of East Prussia at the end of WWII in 1945-1946.

Just ask the ethnic Germans who were driven out of the Sudetenland at the end of WWII in 1945-1946.

Just ask the Jews who were driven out of Morocco and Algeria and Libya and Tunisia and Iraq and Egypt and Lebanon and Syria and Bahrain and Iran and Pakistan et al during the period 1947-1970...

Just ask the Native Americans who were pushed further and further West and eventually herded onto reservations so that New Europe could grow...

When land changes hands, and the former population cannot be readily integrated into the new society taking possession of the land, the vanquished are either killed-off or herded into controllable zones or simply kicked out...

Of those three possibilities, kicking them out is the most 'humane', in that the victims are, at least, still alive at the end of the sequence, and able to start over, someplace else...

When other alternatives have either (1) already been tried or (2) provide no reasonably prospect for succes, then, this sort of unfortunate thing is almost certain to unfold...

As seems to be the case with the so-called Palestinians, the Losers in a long, protracted, pointless conflict that always had a known end-game and outcome...

Vae victus.

It no longer seems a question of "if", but merely a question of "when"...

The Palestinians have had their chance(s)... time and again... and muffed them all... so, Nature is in the process of de-selecting them.

That, too, is Nature's way.

The details associated with such a gradual Expulsion effort are minutiae in the grander scheme of things, and in the broader context here.

Nobody likes to think about it, and nobody likes to do it, but, sometimes, it becomes necessary, and then the shit hits the fan.

Hmmmm, I see you are still using highly biased groups for your information. NGO Monitor lists them as a "fringe political NGO" and notes that their methodology fuels the conflict.

If you wish to be taken seriously you need to present both sides. It's pretty hard to believe the Israelis are practicing "ethnic cleansing" when there are more Palestinians now, than there have ever been in their whole history.

Really shoots that whole meme all to hell....

I don't see why a growth in Population has anything to do with it. We all know that Demographics will in time doom Israeli majority rule.

Gaza is filled with ethnically cleansed Palestinians from Israel Proper in 1948...Today we see it in E.Jerusalem slowly eating up Palestinian homes.

Actually, you don't know what you're babbling about. As noted by the attached link, Pal'istanians breed like rabbits. Gaza'istan is filled with a young population.

Lots of candidates for the Pal'istanian martyrdom death cult.

The reasons why Gaza’s population is so young

First, the Gaza Strip’s population of roughly 1.8 million has an unusually large proportion of children. Figures for 2013 from Index Mundi, the internet source of country data, show that that 43.5 per cent of the population is aged 14 or under, compared with 32 per cent in Egypt and 27 per cent in Israel.

The median age in Gaza is 18, compared with a world average of 28. In most European countries it’s about 40, and it is 30 in Israel. Only in a dozen or so African countries is the median age lower, reaching 15 in Uganda.

I hate to use "The Internet" as a source of information, but the mountain of historical and continuing outrages committed by Zionists on the indigenous Arab population is manifestly documented on sites and in videos, many of which are authored by conscientious Jews.

When viewed in total, it is a textbook example of "ethnic cleansing," using tactics ranging from petty indignities to outrageous impositions, to terrorism and murder...all intended to suppress or drive out the Arab population, and all copiously documented from hundreds of sources.

Consider one "minor" example that is virtually unknown to most Americans. The Israeli's maintain hundreds of "checkpoints" on roads and bridges throughout the Palestinian (or "Occupied") territories. Note that they are NOT ONLY between Palestinian and Israeli areas, but most are entirely in the Palestinian areas. At these checkpoints, the indigenous people are stopped, searched, and questioned by armed military personnel, for no reason other than that they are not Jews. These stops and delays can be a severe hardship on people simply going about their daily affairs. Going to, or coming home from, work can take hours because of delays at these checkpoints. Sometimes passage is arbitrarily denied for many hours at a time without explanation or apparent cause. Ambulances have been known to be turned away, as they try to take sick or injured people to hospitals for emergency treatment.

Ever heard of this? You are not alone. It goes on perpetually in the "Occupied Territories." But Americans don't hear about it. Just one example among many.

Of course similar practices have been carried out in "Israel proper" since 1948 and they continue to today.

They decided to take up arms and fight against Israel so lost the right to be seen as an Israeli citizen. The ones that did not take up arms are now full citizens of Israel, so no ethnic cleansing took place. But cleansing of terrorists, foreign illegals and terrorists did take place.

I am starting a new thread base on one of Rocco's posts.

UN Passes Five Resolutions In Favor Of Palestine | Page 3 | US Message Board - Political Discussion Forum

That is certainly not the recognized definition.

In 1948 there were approximately 1.2 million Palestinians living in Israel. And now there are only just over 6 million of them left. It's a genocide of ethnic cleansing I tell ya, a GENOCIDE. And if you don't believe me, just ask any of the Palestinian supporters.

Population Statistics - Israeli-Palestinian Conflict - ProCon.org
MJ No one has broached genocide. Ethnic Cleansing is not necessarily followed by genocide although a lot of killings of innocent Palestinians have been committed by Genocidal Israelis and Stooges like you in fact and in your case, fantasy.

Ethnic cleansing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ethnic cleansing
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ethnic cleansing is the systematic forced removal of ethnic or religious groups from a given territory by a more powerful ethnic group, with the intent of making it ethnically homogeneous.[1] The forces applied may be various forms of forced migration (deportation, population transfer), intimidation, as well as mass murder.

Ethnic cleansing is usually accompanied with the efforts to remove physical and cultural evidence of the targeted group in the territory through the destruction of homes, social centers, farms, and infrastructure, and by the desecration of monuments, cemeteries, and places of worship.

Oh boy! Talk about a Palestinian mentality. Yes, let us consider all the desecrated Palestinian monuments, social centers, cemetaries & places of worship destroyed by Israel. And as to infastructure, what infastructure?

Do you mean like the Palestinians and their allies did to the Jews in 1949, when they were ethnically cleansed from their homes in Jerusalem, Hebron and other parts of the west bank ?
How many of the 1 million Jewish refugees were mass murdered on their way to Israel ?

Then you will have no problems in producing valid links to your claims from non partisan and unbiased sources. They must state that the Israeli's are committing genocide on the Palestinians and give verifiable figures

ust what the Palestinians and their allies did in 1949 to the Jews in the M.E. stealing their land raping their sisters, wives, mothers and daughters and massacring the men. So if you want to talk about ethnic cleansing don't forget that the Palestinians are the ones most commonly seen to be doing the ethnic cleansing. Borne out by the ethnic cleansing of Christians in Palestine down by 90% of their figures in just 7 years.
