Elton John officially declared senile.

So Bush's more liberal initiatives are now acceptable policies for the right wing? If Obama or Clinton had proposed the same, I can hear the vitriol about him being a commie or socialist or African, who hates America. Do you right wingers ever stop to think about things you post?

Charity and caring for the poor aren't political initiatives.

What the hell are you talking about, I'm a right winger and I didnt like the program, but it's a small drop compared to other stuff. And who called Obama African? I do call him a commie, but not becasue of that, I'd rather do that then the stimulus waste of $800 billion.

He's using the people's money to do it. I supported it, btw. Some of the few things he did that I felt strongly about, and thought was positive. Like I said, do you actually think about what you post?

Who called him an African? Thousands of Birthers. Remember Newt's "anti-colonialist" rants against him?

As for the Stimulus, might I suggest you read the results of what people who are real economists believe.

He praised Bush for supporting AIDS research and treatment.

Something our current prez isn't interested in. As far as Obama's concerned, the more people die, the better.

Wasn't Bush's solution to the Aids crisis to dump condoms in African countries? He's a believer in abstinence. Don't have sex and you won't get Aids. He's a moron.

Yep I wonder if he'll tell AIDs victims to just take an Aspirin

I can see you're as ignorant about the AIDS issue as you are about everything else you idiotically spout off about.

Oh well.

"
According to specialists in the field and AIDS activists alike, in sub-Saharan Africa -- where efforts on raising awareness and relief is credited with saving 5 million lives -- the game changer has come as a direct result of massive U.S. funding that began in 2003.
While support for the funding has been bipartisan, U2's lead singer and humanitarian Bono credits former President George W. Bush with leading the charge on the issue."

So, in 2003, President Bush launched the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), pledging $15 billion in aid over five years.
"I was acting on national security concerns," Bush said. "There's nothing more hopeless than for a child to watch mom and dad die of AIDS and nobody helped, particularly the wealthy nations. And the enemy we face can only recruit when they find hopeless people. And so to provide hope to people as best as we possibly could in the developing world is a national security concern as well as a moral concern. The strategy wasn't working, and an entire generation of Africa was being wiped out. And I felt the United States needed to lead."
In 2004, 700,000 people in low- and middle-income countries had access to anti-retroviral treatment. In 2009, 5.2 million were being treated with the drugs.

Fucking progressive idiots...only progressive pieces of shit who don't care how many die would sneer at such a contribution to the battle against AIDS.
