Nobody applied for asylum because they are NOT refugees, they are economic migrants. When the NGO mass caravans started under Trump they were told go to the border turn yourself in and demand to apply for asylum (which people are suppossed to do at the next country not 8 countries later) that way you can't get deported. Trump answered that with remain in Mexico. All of the migrants had to stay there and many just went back home. Your people sued to have Remain in Mexico eliminated.
