Egyptian Journalist Describes 'Absolute Prosperity' in Gaza

Fayyad has never been the PM.
He's one of two.

And no wonder the locals oppose him:
Known as "Fayyadism", Fayyad's political agenda holds that neither violence nor peaceful negotiations have brought the Palestinians any closer to an independent state. His main tenets[21] are: 1) strong security, 2) good governance, and 3) economic opportunity.
He doesn't want to kill Jews.

There is still a lot of corruption in the PA.

As far as security and economic opportunity, where is that so called security? There is not a single security officer in sight.

Yeah. And you think they can handle their own nation?

Physicians for Human Rights said, "To incarcerate people without time limits, without judicial review and in contravention of international conventions will be a mark of Cain on the State of Israel. Last year the Israeli Supreme court summarilycdismissed 600 cases of torture, illegal imprisonment, interrogation and sexual abuse of Palestinian children in Gaza by the Israeli military. An international children's rights charity has said it has evidence that Palestinian children held in Israeli custody have been subjected to sexual abuse in an effort to extract confessions from them.

The Geneva-based Defence for Children International (DCI) has collected 100 sworn affidavits in 2010 from Palestinian children who said they were mistreated by their Israeli captors. Again all these have even dismissed as heresy by the Israeli Supreme Court. The Israeli military says its justified in the actions that they take, even against children. Just as Israel says it was justified in murdering humanitarian aid workers on the 2010 Gaza flotilla. Or justified in murdering an American volunteer in Gaza, Rachel Corrie, or justified in the sexual abuse of more than 600 children and the detention of more than 10,000 Palestinians in a concentration camp in the Negev desert. Or the assassination of a Hamas leader from Gaza at a hotel in Dubai by an Israeli Intelligence hit team. And Obama continues to remain silent on any of these issues. This was previously reported by Al-Jazeera News in May 2010.

As long ago as October 19, 2000, the then United Nations Human Rights now Council condemned Israel for inflicting "war crimes" and "crimes against humanity" upon the Palestinian people, most of whom are Muslims. The paradigmatic example of "crimes against humanity" is what Hitler and the Nazis did to the Jewish people and now ironically the Jews are using the same methods against the people of Gaza and the West Bank. America is complicit in the actions of Israel, including the current administration of Barrack Obama and his Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Rather than rein in the Israelis--which would be possible just by turning off the funding pipeline--the United States government, the U.S. Congress, and U.S. taxpayers instead support Israel to the tune of about $ 4 billion dollars per year, without whose munificence this instance of genocide of the Palestinian people, in particular the people of Gaza, would not be possible.

The Middle East poor are erupting like an overactive volcano. Hopefully with any luck the new governments and their armies will band together and finish off that Jewish State that is the real terror in the Middle East. The revolutions taking place all around Israel gives many of us hope that it will bring about change in the Middle East. That the people of the region will rise up against Israel and its American master and expel both from the Middle East so the people of this region may be able to make their own self-determination without foreign intervention or the apparent new colonial imperialism of the West.

You hate him because he doesn't want to kill Jews.

And yet, Fayyad is still PM.

Fayyad has never been the PM.

Anis al-Qasem, a constitutional lawyer who drafted the Basic Law, (constitution) is among those who publicly declared the appointment of Fayyad to be illegal.

Tho Pro-Israel I am a Fayyad fan.

He's the first Constructivist of the Palestinian leaders.
Less interested the Politics of Revenge/Nakba and more interested in Building a State on whatever the Palestinians get.
Good governance.
The "anti-Arafat."

If he had been PM at any of the crucial periods as Camp David/s, I believe there would be a Palestinian state now.

Most of the world likes him too. That's why the WB is Booming.
Good responsible govt and countries is lining up to give this 'Mensch' money and help.

alas, the problem now is Netanyahu.
There will be no agreements/peace while he is PM.
He got his 15 minutes before congress, but it was a door slammer to compromise.

Fayyad is a globalist. His view of economic development is getting Palestinians menial jobs in foreign corporations. He has done squat for the Palestinian economic development. He has created some bubbles around the cities that are foreign dependent but outside that there is worse poverty in parts of the West Bank than there is in Gaza.

Fayyad has received hundreds of millions of dollars for security yet the Palestinians have none-zero-nada. Hamas provides much better security for their people than Fayyad.

Fayyad's security forces spy on people without court issued warrants. They arrest people who have broken no law and without court issued warrants. They keep people in prison without charge, without legal council, and without speedy trial. They torture people and several have been tortured to death.

Fayyad fires people from their jobs if they have the wrong political affiliation.

Nobody wants this criminal for PM.

Whatever. Until palistanis are resettled elsewhere in arabistan in a course of the great humanitarian enterprise and shed their pseudo-palestinian pseudo-grievences in a course of the comprehensive deprogramming, we will be wintnessing them molesting the international community with this drivel.

"The punishing conditions imposed by the Israeli blockade of the 1.5 million Palestinians living in Gaza have been replicated for the roughly 40,000 Palestinians who live in "Area C," the 60 percent of the West Bank that remains under complete Israeli military control."

According to a report from Save the Children UK Israeli apartheid in Area C makes all of Gaza look like a resort.

"The report concludes that food security problems are even worse than in Gaza. According to the report, 'eventy-nine percent of communities surveyed recently don't have enough nutritious food; this is higher than in blockaded Gaza where the rate is 61 percent.'

"Palestinian children growing up in Area C experience, according to the report, malnutrition and stunted growth at double the level of children in Gaza. Forty-four percent of these children were found to suffer from diarrhea, often with lethal effects.

"STCUK writes that 'Israel's restrictions on Palestinian access to and development of agricultural land-in an area where almost all families are herders-mean that thousands of children are going hungry and are vulnerable to killer illnesses like diarrhea and pneumonia."'

Formalizing Israel's Land Grab

since I am relatively new here and as it is with all forums there are the Palestinians guardians for truth justice and the UN way.....let me ask you;

do the Palestinians themselves, either west bank , gazan or at large bear any responsibility for their plight?

do the Palestinians themselves, either west bank , gazan or at large bear any responsibility for their plight?

No, Palestine was invaded and occupied. Everything they do is defensive.

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- The Palestinian Center for Human Rights on Monday condemned measures taken by the government in Ramallah against activities organized by the Hizb ut-Tahrir movement a day earlier.

In Hebron, more than 20 people were injured after being violently beaten by security officers, the group said. Others suffered from tear gas inhalation during the dispersal of what was a peaceful demonstration.

Palestinians have the right to peaceful assembly under the Palestinian Basic Law and international human rights instruments, the Gaza-based rights group noted. Yet, dozens of protesters were arrested and beaten.

Ad-Dmeiri told Ma'an on Sunday that Hizb Ut-Tahrir's "slander" of government forces was in line with the party's "refusal to recognize the Palestinian Authority, or its flag, anthem or law."

The PA, (Abbas, Fayyad, and their cronies) is an unelected, unapproved "government" that is imposed on the people of the West Bank by the use of force. US money and weapons is the only thing keeping this illegitimate government in power.

Palestine was then put under the British with the primary purpose of assisting the Palestinians to create an independent state.

Then the world's criminal class took over a fucked everything up.

Instead of letting the people elect a leader, the British appointed one. And not a good one at that.

The mandate was self conflicting and violated the League of Nations charter. Anyway, they accomplished nothing but death and destructions because they did not follow the charter.
