ECONOMY Economy added 164,000 jobs in July

Lowes is a perfect example of this economy.

Lowe's lays off thousands of workers

What Lowes is doing is laying off thousands of workers, many who have worked there for years making decent money with benefits to outsource their jobs. Now many of these outsources jobs will still be listed as a job on the employment numbers but they will be lower paying jobs with no benefits.

People will then complain that those who were able to pay their bills and see a doctor when they get sick now have to apply for food stamps and use the Emergency room when they get sick.

All because people who may never set a foot in a Lowes demand a better return.

Good news, we needed that. Still the lowest monthly average of jobs added since 2010.
When unemployment is at 3.6% the economy is at full employment. Its not like when Obama's economy had no where to go but up. Obama was coming out of the "Great Recession" and had $800b of TARP money to help. Trump had the Fed raising rates AND doing $50b a month of reducing its balance sheet. Trump is managing the economy, Obama went along for the ride, remember, "those jobs are not coming back"? Obama gets a "D", Trump is doing much better.

LOWES is just the beginning When Trumps tariffs push prices way up many more will lose their jobs and all you have to blame is the AH in our WH

Yes, Lowes is just the most recent example. Watch what happens to Boeing.

Lowest market indexes weekly ,for the year With thanks to the moron Last 3 days were killers I give Rump an S for shithead

I see people have to work 2 jobs to be able to survive.
I'd clap if the minimum wage is at least $15 hours. Americans cant afford so many things that their counter parts can in Europe, Canada and elsewhere.
Most of my relatives in Europe for example are vacationing overseas for 3 ro 4 weeks. I cant say that about the middle class here, where some cant even afford taking vacation days.
That been said those job numbers dont mean much.

Why do you want to put low income people out of work?
Why?
Why cant upper management take a cut to trickle down the wealth ? Only in American where we see a CEO who nets millions while those at the bottom make pennies.

Yep, not sure you should be getting so exited. Let's take Canada for example, one of their provinces (Quebec) has a minimum wage of $12.50. Great, that's higher than in the U.S., but wait, the current exchange rate is $1.00 US = $1.32 Canadian. So that minimum wage just became $9.46 US.
Minimum wage in Quebec is set to increase by May 1 | Venture
Still better than lot of places in the US. And they have affordable health care and the cost of living in most part of Quebec is very reasonable.
Their higher education tuitions are super affordable compared to the US.
They have a good safety net for their unfortunate citizens unlike the US.
They beat US in so many categories, your ready ?
Health
34 million of Americans are uninsured.
Canadians have access to health care without fear of bankrupcy.

Life expectancy :
USA 78
Canada 81

Maternity leave:
USA 6 weeks
Canada fuller year with full pay.

Safety:
USA has the highest levels of crimes, prisoners incarcerated.
Canada has one of the lowest crimes and prisoners.

And so much more.

Enough ? Or you gonna start spinning ?

You do realize they pay for that Canadian healthcare right, you realize there are long waits for that healthcare right, you realize many come to the US for their healthcare? Dumbass.

1. Canadians and Canada pay less for both drugs and health care per capita.
2. The waiting times were debunked many times, is as bad as here...I myself have to wait 3 months to see an ear specialist.
3. Thousands if not million Americans cross both borders for health care.
4. 5housands if not millions of Americans file bankrupcy because of health care billa.
5. Even almighty trump is promising 5o open gates for Americans to buy cheaper canadian drugs.

Stop lying please.

'Free' Health Care in Canada Costs More Than It's Worth

The Canadian health care system is not free -- in fact, Canadian families pay heavily for healthcare through the tax system. That high price paints the long wait times and lack of medical technologies in Canada in a very different light.

Odd then that Canadians have an average lifespan longer than ours.

There is no Gator post that doesn't contain bitching. Extra points for being passive aggressive.

Completely irrelevant information there at the end. It's not surprising to see less jobs added when we are at such a low rate. Is Gator waiting for a negative unemployment rate?

Good news indeed. Trump is handling the economy very well, people will notice come 2020.

you always have hated facts and truth...glad to see that has not changed.

Yes, the truth is, you bitch a lot.

Yeah, I suppose I do. Seems better than spending my days kissing the ass of a politician like you do.

But hey, each to their own.

You do realize that this is the behavior that almost all very, very low status males inhibit? They undermine everything because you are just that low on the social totem pole. I can see why they would have a problem with the Alpha Dog.

Please get on the ladder, the amount of bitching is too damn tiring.

:itsok:

Poor little norman, projecting again.

I have a very nice view down from my spot on the ladder. Enough money to do pretty much whatever the wife and I want to do and a nest-egg big enough to last us till we are about 110 once we are done working.

How many millions do you have?

I do not need million to do the things I like to do. The Fed Govt puts my household income in the top 10%, which is not really all that much. We do pretty good, our family income has gone up 350% since 2012, so we are pretty happy folks right now.
